In reply to: [BuddyDrive] Sidebar cutting off Buddydrive! Thanks @imath — is this a “long term” fix, or will this break upon a version update? Just prepping! Thanks….
Thanks for the response @imath, I REALLY look forward to this update! Please keep me abreast if possible ?? au revoir!
I see in other threads from the last week or two that you are planning on making this “branding” change. When can I expect to be able to enjoy this upgrade? Would a small donation speed things up? haha I really need this to work ASAP….
And again, THANKS for a great, much-needed plugin.

In reply to: [BuddyMenu BuddyLinks] CustomizeThis was hard to google, and shouldn’t require coding! so let me post my experience here (in the most relevant thread I’ve found so far). 4 months later, this unresolved post has helped me a lot!
I needed the buddymenu widget to display links to buddypress pages (like “view profile”), but ALSO links to non-buddypress pages (in fact, pages that aren’t even on the site).
I use the buddymenu widget to display some links for easy member access, so like, “view profile” “edit profile” direct you to your BP stuff, and then “resources” links to a second website — all from the widget). This post got me 2/3 of the way there, here’s the last 1/3 for anyone who needs it ??
To create a custom URL, do the following once you’re at dashboard > widgets > put the buddymenu widget where you want it > on your menu item (for example, “first menu item”), select “custom url”, and then SAVE the widget. Refresh the page you are on, and then access the widget again — there will magically be a new field IN RED for a custom URL! Voila! So frustrating if you don’t realize this……..
Here’s what I’m running:
WordPress 3.5.1
Buddypress 1.7.2
Frisco theme 1.6.13
Buddymenu 2.1.1Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Achievements for WordPress] Bug Report: Needs updating for WP 3.5everything worked for me after editing the achievements-core and achievements-classes, THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting this fix. it was so bad before i fixed it, i couldn’t even access my wp-admin. i ended up going through my ftp file manager to make the changes. it was tense, but ultimately smoothly implemented. thanks again, hope this helps other people, and welcome to wordpress 3.5 everybody ??
Any chance this can made simpler in a future release? I’d love a simple checkbox in the dashboard to disable this….
thx
dginther can you provide a link?
