I do agree with you that wp-admin is a vulnerable spot but renaming it might break those file connections that involve the initial name. I mean one could probably go through all of those connections but you’d probably need to be quite comfortable modifying those and be techie. I’m just a newb like many others.
Hey, thank you for your reply.
I’m willing to try your plugin but I have some concerns though. Would you be able to address those?
1. How does All In One WP Security behaves CPU consumption wise?
2. Do I need your Firewall, if I already have NinjaFirewall installed?
3. Isn’t Rename Login feature dangerous to use since it messes up with your files?Thank you.
Could you refer me to some tutorials/docs, where I can find standard NinjaFirewall settings, something not overcomplicated for a beginner?
In iThemes the feature is called Network Brute Force Protection:
The Network Brute Force Protection module allows you to join a network of sites that reports and protects against bad actors on the internet.Well Wordfence, for example, has Firewall rules with a 30 day delay for free users, while iThemes offer that immediately as far as I know. The point is malicious traffic info is spread out through the whole network.
Hi!
In simple words, if someone is attacked, that bad traffic info is then used by the central server to block that traffic from attacking others who are in that network.
Thanks.
Thank you!
Well they are not really responsive there. Takes a day or more. So I don’t even k ow where to seek for any help.
As I mentioned above, points 1 and 2 were already done.
Point 3 – all those plugins are configured certain way, I had to go through heaps of Youtube videos to make correct settings. I’m not even sure now which ones. Will deactivating them erase all those settings? If that’s the case I would highly appreciate if you could find an alternative solution or at least advise which plugin could possibly be causing the issue. I really don’t want to start from scratch just for Elementor’s sake. I bought the Pro version and would expect a pro support instead of general answers. Some people don’t even read my answers. I provide info and being asked for it again.Thank you.
I can also go into existing elements of Elementor that are in my demo site by OceanWP. The only thing I can’t drag and drop the new ones…getting those circles with a line.
I can just tell you that the widget panel is fully loaded, but I see circles with a line through them when dragging them.
Can it be something to be enabled in WordPress settings by any chance?Mu host adjusted everything as per Elementor’s requirements, the issue is still there.
Nope, I even specified in my post, I’m using Chrome.
Thank you! So having that 503 Error still means there are no issues whatsoever – just how the plugin works?
I’m not a coder, unfortunately, so I wouldn’t be able to mess around with CSS in the backend. Would you be able to add that feature in future, just for users to at least have an option?
