Actually, as i read through it again, they don’t specifically mention that you have to backlink the single to the grouped product. However, as you can see in following screenshot, there is a section for “grouping” in the “linked products” section of a simple product, which is not shown in my settings. I thought this might be the reason why it’s not working for me.

I just staged the site like you suggested, deactivated all the plugins and used storefront. Unfortunately the problem is still the same.

thanks a lot for your help. I will try out what you suggested but i don’t think it’s gonna resolve the issue, because the problem is slightly different from the one you picked up: The problem is not to link the single products inside the grouped product, this is working just fine:

You can see the option “grouped product” in the SINGLE PRODUCT options.
This option is not shown in my backend, i can only choose between up- and crosssells:https://snipboard.io/apcUz6.jpg
In Summary:
The grouped product contains the single products in the linked section.
