In reply to: [WooCommerce] User role to edit orders onlyHi Shameen,
thanks for your suggestion. The problem is that the plugins, which allow editing the user roles, won’t work because of the above issue. There is simply no way to customize the roles in a way that a user can only edit orders, but not the rest of WooCommerce.
Reason being the line of code I mentioned above… the order editing is tied to the manage_woocommerce capability, no external plugin will be able to change that…
Thus: please fix this by adding a new capability.
Thanks,
Michael

Thanks.
Tomas, are you using Checkout Blocks? Very likely it’s DRAFT Orders which are causing the gaps…

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] “Visible, unchecked by default” not workingFurther debugged it… the Block does not save the value “uncheck” in the options table. Always is “check”. As soon as I update the data in the options table it works fine.
So I think the problem is the saving of the data from the block.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] “Visible, unchecked by default” not workingNoticed another behaviour… if I am logged in the checkbox is unchecked, but for anonymous users the checkbox is checked by default. Why is that?

In reply to: [Limit Login Attempts Reloaded] Own menu item, again.Yeah, trying everything possible to get their premium version in front of customers.
Some of my clients freaked out when they got the warning mails or see a new icon they do not know.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Limit Login Attempts Reloaded] Option to choose where the menu should beWell,
as you said. It’s a “set and forget”-plugin, but they try to sell their premium version. That’s why there are so many updates, which bring the plugin to the site owners attention (i.e. the useless mail notifications, now the menu item, nag screens etc.).
The plugin got worse since they offer a “premium” version.
