One other question regarding that category filter. My travel posts all have at least two categories: “travel” plus a destination name. The filter that makes the most sense to me is “jetpack_subscriptions_exclude_all_categories_except: [travel]”

I just want to verify that doing this means that anything with the category “travel” would send, even if it has another category attached?

Regarding migrating followers: I originally began with a wordpress.com blog, then later migrated it to my own hosting provider at https://travelingwithmikeandyvonne.com. That was a non-issue as far as taking followers with me. But now I want to migrate them to a different URL, https://mikebernhardt.net. It is also connected to my WP.com account.But there’s no migration tool to move followers from one URL on my account to another, is there?

I could create a post explaining what’s going on and invite followers to join the new Jetpack list. I can also send an invite to email followers directly. Are those my only options?

I undid the 301 redirect until this is worked out, so no worries there.

I just did experimenting, and I have found that the PHONE field works with or without mc4wp- prepended. So maybe you forgot that you support it natively or something ??

But, it doesn’t work either way if I’ve hidden the field in Mail Chimp. Which makes sense but it kinda sucks because I didn’t want the phone field to show up on the Facebook signup form, only on the web site’s contact form. Oh well. I required the phone in CF7, but not in MailChimp so people can leave it out on Facebook if they want.

Well, one last question about this then- I prefixed the PHONE field with mc4wp- and when it began to work, took that out again as an experiment- and it still worked. It sounds like you are saying that it should not work without mc4wp-.

So the tag generator is just building a, well, tag for me so I don’t have to figure it out. It doesn’t create any underlying code that the tag ties to?

Never mind. Somehow my browser must have been caching something. I tried from a different computer and now it works fine.

So then the result would be that I could choose which fields get sent to MailChimp, while still having all of them sent via normal form email rules! That’s exactly what I want!

I currently use Custom Contact Forms for my forms and I’m only using CF7 because of your built-in integration with it. Custom Contact Forms makes much more beautiful forms. Compare the 2nd form on https://yvonnelefort.net/contact-us vs https://yvonnelefort.net/contact-test. (The first form is from Easy Mailchimp right now).

But am I understanding your FAQ correctly that there’s a way to integrate your plugin with Custom Contact Forms?

I rebuilt the page and it’s working properly now. No idea what was wrong.

Trying to fix that doesn’t work. Strangely, the code Amazon provides has a height & width of “1” not “0” but my site changes it to “0” so perhaps you’re right about some plugin doing that. But where would the firewall or adblock reside, if it is the cause?

I also tried the same code on another site (on the same hosting provider), and even pulled the latest from Amazon, and the image links don’t work there either.

Until just before I posted this question, the 2 local images were not showing either- I had to re-link them last night because the links had broken. I don’t know when that happened though, it may have been unrelated to this problem.

I’ll see what I can do with the width and height.

It is true, I moved to JotForm because for the expected volume of submissions it will be free. But I will try your suggestion in case Jotform changes their plan.
