  • All my observations were made with version 3.2.1 of WordPress, my client preferring media upload the old way.

In short: bugs and their resolutions differed between browsers.

The bug observed by w3dgie was mine too, in up-to-date Chrome, in IE7 (I know!), in IE9, but not in Firefox!?

I first tried the little patch in ngg-config.php, then Firefox throwed me HTTP errors 302.

I downloaded and installed the very last stable version of NextGEN Gallery (V1.9.5 – 18.07.2012). It works great in all version of Internet Explorer, but not in Chrome nor Firefox!? When I use the Flash-based uploader, theses browsers return me “Login Error: -1”. When I disable the Flash-based uploader, PHP errors are generated by “Firewall 2” plugin.

I only write you this to help the developpers narrow the problem, if it persists elsewhere dispite its last update. Now, I look for an alternative to NextGEN Gallery…
