Many thanks for your prompt response.

    Problem solved!

I was not aware of these options, as I rarely print anything where an image is involved.

Thanks for your quick response and suggestions.

However, after consulting my hosting provider, I am pretty sure the problem is not caused by them.

I can’t be bothered spending any more time on the issue, so I have disabled the QUIC.cloud CDN.

I am still getting very impressive scores on Pingdom, GMetrix and ByteCheck, so the LiteSpeed Cache plugin seems to be doing it’s job, even without the CDN.

I find your response fairly confusing, and I’m not sure if you have understood my enquiry.

It is a perfectly innocent question, and I am not asking “the developer to have a conversation with a customer”.

I have already contacted Elementor support, and it was their suggestion that I look around for another solution, such as a code work around.

In my experience as a longtime WordPress user, product user forums are usually the best place to start. Someone has invariably come across the same problem, and is happy to comment or share their solution.

Elementor is indeed a “commercial product”, but if as you say “commercial products are not supported in these forums”, what is the point of the forum?

    Ah yes! Silly me!

I realise now that the problem only occurs when I am logged into the back end of the site as administrator.

When I log out and view any recipe in any browser everything works exactly as it should.

I’m pretty sure that takes care of the problem, but if I still have any issues in the future I’ll open another ticket.

Many thanks for your quick reply and assistance.

I am having a similar problem.

When I click on the “Print” icon, it initially prints everything on the page, including the site header.

However if I cancel the first print attempt and then try it again straight away (without refreshing the browser or clearing the cache), it prints the target content correctly.

I am using the plugin on a food blog I am building using Elementor, and calling the print shortcode via an Advanced Custom Field link.

I am confident that I have the shortcode and also the CSS Class on the section I want to print entered correctly, and the fact that it works on the second print attempt seems to bear this out.

However, I am concerned that a potential user may abandon the recipe and the blog if the first print attempt always results in extra unwanted content.

I would appreciate any comments or assistance.

    Hi Kris

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

I suspected that this might be the case, but I think it would definitely be a worthwhile inclusion in the next version of BLC.

I would be surprised if I am the only one who has ever considered this potential problem.

    Regards

    Thanks for your quick response.

I think I have solved this problem by setting the Page Title Style to “hidden” under General Settings in the customiser.

On pages where I do want the default page title to show, I have used the individual page settings to override the global settings.

This seems to be working OK.

    Hi Hannah

    Thanks for your response.

However, as I hadn’t heard anything back from the Forum, I contacted the plugin Support team directly, and they have since given satisfactory answers to my questions.

No problem at all – I’ve just posted one.

    Many thanks again!

    Hi @mr.clayton

This would have to be the quickest response to a forum post that I’ve ever had.

I was just in the middle of replying to your first response when your second one came through.

It’s almost as though you were looking over my shoulder while I was typing!

The site is still under construction as you may have gathered, and I am adapting one of the ready made sites that come with the theme.

The newsletter sign up form in the footer came with the dummy site, and I have not got round to deciding what to do with it yet. Even so, it would not have occurred to me that it would have any effect on the checkout page.

All I had to do was untick the box at the bottom of the form which said “Show Privacy Statement”, and the problem was solved.

I have since successfully processed an order and everything looks OK.

I take your point about the problem with showing credit cards on the product page, and it makes perfect sense.

Many thanks once again for your help.

    Correct.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to wait around hoping that someone could help.

I deleted this plugin, and found one which actually works (and also does not have the annoyingly small popup I mentioned).

    Perfect! Worked like a charm.

Thank you very much for your prompt reply, and my apologies for not responding sooner.
The site I am using Site Reviews on has been taking up a lot of my time, and I have only just got round to the reviews section again.

I opted to use the first of your suggested solutions, and it worked perfectly.

    I have two more questions:

    (1) How do I get a reviewer’s avatar image to show up? I have selected “yes” for both “Enable Avatars” and “Regenerate Avatars” in the Reviews tab in the plugin settings, and I have also submitted a dummy review with a hotmail email address which has the account holder’s image in it’s personal settings.

However, no image shows up when the review is published.

    (2) The site on which I am using the plugin is a shopping centre site, with a separate page for each tenant. I have set up the plugin on each of these pages (including the page ID in the shortcode) so that tenants can get individual reviews.

Under “Notifications” in the general settings, I have set my own email address as the default, with a copy also to be sent to the centre managers under “Send To One Or More Email Addresses”.

Is it possible for an email to be automatically sent at the same time to the individual tenant who receives the review, and if so what is the procedure?

Many thanks for your quick response.

There is actually a theme setting for styling the inbuilt contact form, and I had already set the field entry text colour to white for use on another page.

It did not occur to me that this would also affect fields in a third party plugin. However it did, and a change back to black did the trick. Problem solved!

    Your help is much appreciated.
