No prob, Iners! Glad everything worked out.
Sometimes the confirmation emails can be delayed by the receiving email server depending on the volume of incoming emails, spam filters, etc.
Please let us know if we can assist with anything else ??

Hey there, Iners!
Thanks for reaching out to us. We also received your support ticket and sent over a follow-up email to get some additional information so we can test the sign up form on the website.
Please keep an eye out for that email from us, and we’ll be happy to investigate further.

In reply to: Mailchimp plugin not enqueuing scriptsHmm. Can you provide a website URL so we can check this out?
Is the JavaScript working at all when you select the option in the settings?

In reply to: [Mailchimp List Subscribe Form] mailchimp plugin v1.2.5 settings corruptionWe understand this can be a little confusing as the MailChimp plugin is erroneously adding an extra “settings” link to every plugin, which we are working to resolve.
Please keep in mind two things:
1) If a plugin has 2 “settings” links, one of those links will still work. You can also edit the plugin from the “Settings” menu on the left side of the admin.
2) If a plugin has 1 “settings” link, which disappears when the MailChimp plugin is deactivated, it means that plugin does not normally have a “settings” link and can be edited through another menu. We recommend contacting the plugin’s vendor for support on how to edit that plugin.
If you do see a plugin which is supposed to have a “settings” link and does not because of the MailChimp plugin, please let us know the name of the plugin and we’ll investigate the issue.

It looks like the website is currently using the embedded form instead of the plugin, and it is redirecting properly. Did you switch the forms out after posting this message, or were you seeing the issue with the embedded form originally?
If you prefer using the plugin, disabling JavaScript in the WordPress settings page should make the redirect work properly.
And if you want to stick with the embedded form, we recommend disabling the MailChimp plugin as it is adding extra information to the web page which is not needed by the embedded form.

Hmm, are you seeing that other plugin settings are completely inaccessible?
From what we have seen, the first settings links should still work. It’s only the duplicate settings link which appears to be broken. If you only see one settings link, it usually means that plugin doesn’t have a settings link.
You should also be able to access plugin settings from the side menu.
But if you are seeing some plugin settings completely borked, please let us know which plugins, and please send us a screenshot of the error page to examples[at]mailchimp[dot]com.

Hey Bart!
It’s really up to the user if they want to style the form with the labels above the fields or next to the fields. Freedom can be a tough imposition sometimes. ??
But we’re happy to provide the necessary CSS code to revert the look of the form since it was a sudden change to some people.

Hey bobish!
That does seem a bit odd and could be related to the WordPress theme.
We checked out the site, but it looks normal to us with the sand-colored background in the middle. I see the signup form is still on the site, though. Did you downgrade to 1.2.4 instead?
If you did downgrade, could you reinstall 1.2.5 and add the form to a private page using the [mailchimpsf_form] shortcode, just so we can take a look at the issue?
If you are still running 1.2.5, can you let us know the browser and operating system you are using so we can try to replicate?

Hey BvM!
The code was updated to be more customizable using CSS styles.
To align the text fields on separate lines, like in the previous version of the form, please add this CSS to your theme’s stylesheet:
#mc_signup_form .mc_input { display: block; }

Hey Sheona,
All of these changes are possible by editing the theme’s CSS styles, as you’ve already figured out. ??
We can definitely recommend checking in with a web designer. We even maintain a handy list of experts who can also help you out at https://experts.mailchimp.com.
mc_nate posted a fix for left aligning the field boxes as that was a specific change we made in the most recent version. You can find his fix for that here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-mailchimp-list-subscribe-form-do-not-install-mailchimp-v125-plugin?replies=6
The other changes will be pretty simple for someone familiar with CSS.

In reply to: Mailchimp and date appearance on separate linesHey entretec!
We checked out the website, but did not see any date fields in the form. However, this does seem like a CSS styles issue from your description. We recommend contacting a web designer for help with styling.

Hey napolijr,
The settings link issue has been raised and responded to in this forum post here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-mailchimp-list-subscribe-form-125-adds-settings-link-to-all-plugins?replies=4
Our developers are aware of the issue and will look into it. However, the original settings link for the other plugins will still work fine. It’s only the duplicate settings link which displays the error message.

Hey Kieran and Alex!
Looks like we are able to replicate this issue, and we will pass it along to the big chimp developers to take a look at.
There is a workaround we can recommend at this time: Simply create a hidden group for the list in the MailChimp app. The group does not need to appear on the form nor be selected in the MailChimp settings page in WordPress. There just needs to be at least one group within the list.
To add a group to the list within MailChimp, please refer to this handy tutorial here: https://kb.mailchimp.com/article/how-can-i-add-groups-for-segmenting-to-my-sign-up-form/
In Step 2 of the “Create Groups on an Existing List” section, for the “How should we show group option” field, select the “don’t show these groups on my signup form” option to keep the groups hidden from your subscribers.
You’re the only one who will see this group so it can be for anything, like maybe favorite blog software. ??
It’s a bit of a hack, but it works.
