In reply to: Edit a template used by multiple pagesThe modules of Elementor and Beaver are both free. You can install them from the WordPress repository. Divi is also free and has a similar feature.
I googled “Global content” and found this Blog Post also gives steps on how to create Reusable Content Blocks using a free plugin:

In reply to: MCE Stripping iframe codeI see. I have Class Editor installed on all of my client sites and have not run into any problems yet (knock on wood). I will test them one by one for compatibility with Gutenberg and eventually I will hopefully not need the Class Editor.
Hope it works out!

In reply to: broken blog not loading older postsTry this inside WordPress: Go to SETTINGS, then READING, and see if Full text is selected. If it is, change it to Summary. Screenshot below.
As for updates, now that I know you use GoDaddy, contact their 24-hour line and ask for help setting up their ManageWP tool to keep your software updated. Even if you blog regularly, you must still keep all your WordPress software updated or your site will eventually break, just like your phone or computer requires software updates.

In reply to: Edit a template used by multiple pagesHellow Tylerdurden21,
1. One of the simplest approaches might be to use what’s called a Global module, which is available in a page builders (such as Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi or Architect.
You can also create Layouts inside Beaver Builder (via Beaver Themer) that apply to all your pages or just parts of certain types.I recommend that approach since today’s page builders work with most Themes (if not, you can switch to the Free Astra Theme or another page builder-friendly theme). See Page Builder links below, two have free versions, and that’s all you need.
WP Beaver Builder: https://wpbeaverbuilder.com
Elementor: https://elementor.com/
Architect: https://thrivethemes.com/architect/
2. Yep! ??
Hope that helps!

In reply to: Article starting with own fullscreen header?Hi there Peter,
One easy way to achieve fullscreen images (using the featured image) on secondary pages (pages that are not the homepage) is via a Page Builder. You would go into the properties of the row and make it full-height. Should work with any theme, but you may want to consider a Page Builder Theme too (like Astra or Beaver Theme).
Here are 3 Page Builders I suggest, two of which have FREE versions:
Elementor: https://elementor.com/
Beaver Builder: https://www.wpbeaverbuilder.com/
Architect: https://thrivethemes.com/architect/
Since you are not a PHP Developer, you will find these Page Builders will make your life easier. I suggest backing up your website before testing anything out.
Hope this helps.
P.S. Nice Fall leaves on the homepage!

In reply to: Unable to view all the list in pages and postsHi there Loveursmiile,
It sounds like you must advance to page two at the bottom. I have pasted an image for you at the below link.

Please advise if that helps; I hope so!

In reply to: fatal error messageHi sacredsinger,
Contact your webhost and see if they can help you disable the plugin called “Virtue-Toolkit” if you don’t know how to do it during FTP.
Via FTP, I would rename that plugin folder which should let you login and see what’s what. You may need to replace that plugin or update it to the latest version. Or if it’s something you don’t need, you can permanently delete it.
Your host may assist with a backup first if you don’t already have a recent backup. Look into working with Managed WordPress Hosts such as SiteGround, Kinsta, or WP Engine.
P.S. Your site comes up fine for me, including the Login Page area, so I’m assuming the error is seen only when you try to enter in your credentials like you said above. If this is right, I suggest what I wrote above.
Hope this helps!
Take care,

In reply to: Admin user being added by hackerBob,
Contact your webhost right away for assistance. If you have a Managed WordPress Host like SIteGround, Kinsta, or WP Engine, they can help you top this from happening.
Meanwhile, update your WordPress to the latest version, also update your Theme and plugins to the latest versions.
Lastly, create a NEW user with administrator rights with a STRONG password, and delete all other users, including your current user.
You did not give us a link to your website, but making sure it has a SSL installed for the HTTPS protocol is important too. The hosts I listed above provide FREE & EASY ways to achieve that level of security, and provide security measures in their hosting environments.
If you are on a EIG owned hosting provider, you may want to install something like iThemes, a free security plugin.
Hope something I said was helpful!
Take care,

In reply to: WP 5.0 Beta 2 and 3 – Problem with customizer uploads in Paloma themeHi Susanne,
I personally have not experienced this issue. However, a workaround would be to upload the media directly to the Media Library, then go into the customizer and add the URL to the media item.

In reply to: CSS help required pleaseGreetings dman77,
These type of issues can be frustrating. Here is a few approaches to try:
1) Write the Theme Developer back and kindly ask them to provide the CSS you can add to your website to resolve the problem. If you are clear & succinct with what you are trying to accomplish, many will shoot you the needed CSS. Then you add the CSS here: APPEARANCE / CUSTOMIZE / ADDITIONAL CSS
2) Install a plugin called Yellow Pencil. Here is a link to the free version in the WP Repository. It is very popular way to quickly tweak CSS as needed in a visual way. It’s a Visual CSS Style Editor and a great HELP video is here along with a way to download the plugin.
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/yellow-pencil-visual-theme-customizer/
3) Finally, have you considered using a Page Builder and a Page Builder Theme? These newer tools often eliminate frustrating CSS issues if you are not fluent in CSS because each module comes with an easy way to create the effects needed, kind of a WYSIWYG interface for editing, except there’s a module for everything. I use this setup for my clients now and they love it and contact me less for help with these type issues.
Here are 3 Page Builders I recommend:
Elementor: https://elementor.com
Beaver Builder: https://wpbeaverbuilder.com
Architect: https://thrivethemes.com/architect/
Hope something I said was helpful!

In reply to: MCE Stripping iframe codeHey there jfambrini,
Apparently WordPress removes iframe html tags due to security reasons.
I know you said you did not want to add an additional plugin, but you might want to read this information: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/iframe/
Also, what are you adding to your website using the iframes? I as because sometimes (emphasize on sometimes), I see sites using iframe’s when a native solution may work better. If you share that detail, you may get even better responses from persons answering your question.
