In reply to: add text to image and download the fileGreetings Fableism,
First, welcome to WordPress! Second, anything is possible with WordPress. However, please know your requirements are a bit complex. Specifically, allowing your customers to add their name to an image and then purchase their personalized image and download it from your website.
I did a quick search and found a WordPress plugin for FooBox. Perhaps you can try FooBox or a similar service? At first glance, FooBox seems to meet all of your requirements & offers a WordPress plugin.
Here is a link to more information:
https://fooplugins.com/plugins/foobox-fotomoto/Of course, it sounds like you need to first get your WordPress website setup. There are plenty of webhosts that offer simple one-click WordPress installs, so find one that offers that. Then you are ready to rock and roll!
You may also want to look into WooCommerce, a free store plugin:
https://woocommerce.comThere is also Easy Digital Downloads:
https://easydigitaldownloads.comCheck the EXTENSIONS page of both Woo Commerce and Easy Digital Downloads for add-ons that might also help you meet your requirements.
There are also many plugins for photographers that allow them to sell hi-res photographs that are watermarked for protection prior to the customer purchasing the image, but out of the box it is unlikely they allow the customer to append their name to the image prior to downloading.
Hope something I said was helpful.

Hi FunnyBiscuit,
Yes, this is possible. You can use a plugin similar to Easy Code Placement by Jens Herdy. This will give you a centralized place in the backend of WordPress to create your table, then add it to all of your pages using a shortcode.
See description & screenshots here:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/easy-code-placement/Please let me know how it works out.

Greetings DMO,
You are right. I get the same result when testing your sample URL in multiple browsers. It works everywhere but Chrome.
However, when I put your images on a test WordPress page, I am able to click them in Chrome just fine. The order of your syntax should not matter, but I noticed WordPress editor auto-corrected the order, and that is the only difference between my code and your code.
Can you give this a shot:

You may have the same result, but it is a worth a try. I have seen stranger.

In reply to: How to insert a link in HEADER – Theme AGAMAGreetings lisottishop,
I agree with bdbrown: ask the theme developer first. Each theme has its own, dedicated support forum, and some theme authors provide further support (free or paid) on their own site or may have a public knowledgebase.
That all said, I installed the Agama theme & figured this out with a workaround. I used a plugin that let me create custom headers for any page. Then I uploaded a tiny white dot as the header.
Not sexy, but it works & you can resort to this workaround if you don’t get answers.
Here is my result: https://urbanweblink.wpengine.com/?page_id=6
(Note: I will leave that up for about a week.)
The plugin is called “Custom Header Extended” by Justin Tadlock.
Here is the white dot I used: https://www.youtube.com/yts/img/pixel-vfl3z5WfW.gif
Of course, if you have a lot of webpages, that is a lot of tweaking. I’ll update my answer if I find something better when I have more time later.

In reply to: shortcode on center of theme home pageGreetings ganton,
This might depend on your theme. However, for all intense and purposes, you can go to the Editor of your FrontPage and click the TEXT tab and enter the code where you would like it to appear (I say to use the Text tab, because this avoids pasting formatting with the shortcode which sometimes will make the shortcode not work).
This assumes your FrontPage is the homepage of your WordPress site inside your General Settings. SETTINGS / READING and then place dot next to STATIC PAGE and select which page to be your FrontPage.
I hope this helps! Please report back.

In reply to: [RSS Feed Retriever] Fetching Thumbnail ImagesJackie,
Thanks so much for sharing your resolution! It saved me some time tonight, as I’m seeking the same solution for a client who is using this plugin.
Now if I can only get the image to appear first before the title ??
Cheers,

In reply to: Upgraded to WP 4.5 and now my site is brokenBe encouraged, everyone. It is not only a mere 1% of people who are having difficulties with this upgrade to WP 4.5 as was stated earlier. No way. Not from all the posts I’ve seen. I’m about to write a blog post myself about two sites:
One site I had to upgrade the theme and the Revolution Slider so the site would load (it had stopped loading altogether).
On a second site I had to downgrade to the previous version of WordPress since custom permalinks did not work whenever Gravity Forms was activated. I had the latest version of Gravity Forms and the latest version of the template. I changed to a default template (Twenty Sixteen) and the problem did not present itself, so I’m pretty sure the template developer has to provide a fix. Meanwhile I downgraded.
Anyhow, stay encouraged and do not let anyone tell you that you are in the “minority” as tho there is something wrong with “you” because a site you webmaster has a conflict with 4.5.

In reply to: Page not found error after upgrading to 4.5Same issue here, and permalinks did NOT resolve the issue, unfortunately. Of course, my client just launched their summer registration yesterday and major campaigning started TODAY.

In reply to: [Church Pack] [groups] showing all the content of every groupYes, please add excerpts, or the ability to use the <!–more–> syntax within full posts to indicate where the teaser should break on the [groups] page.
For large churches that have several subgroups to list on a main group page, seeing the entirety of each group page spit out on the [groups] page is not cool.
Thank you otherwise for a fabulous plug-in! Let me know if you’d like a beta tester ??
Actually, I’m reading the link you dropped, and this might be helpful. I will try it (may need a day or so as I’m busy) and will report back.
I have the same question. In fact, I already changed my naming scheme from the default (pageID) to the post name. So some pages in my blog that had hundreds of likes, now have zero. I would love to find a plugin that allowed to both to be counted for the same page, since the pageID URL is the same as the page’s name. Sigh. It’s sort of starting all over… in a way. Because with the pages all resetting to zero, it appears no one likes anything, lol. And when I re-share an older piece, it is not as effective when it has (seemingly) no activity in social media.
