Seems was an issue with a plugin called ‘Rank Math’ it has been updated and resolve.

Thanks for the advice, have been pretty busy. Will let you know if resolved.

Just to say, the problem i was having has been resolved by our hosting company.
I got the website back on line and starting loading plug-ins one by one.
w3 total cache was the culprit, I deleted it and the components on FTP and is now back to normal. Thanks for your help. I just have to be more careful with the plug ins i use.

I have contacted hosting company and they are checking it out. I have typed both with and without www. and it goes direction to our website that is irishconstruction.com with out the www, if you understand me, this is wrecking my head!!! hopefully hosting company with have a solution soon.

I am still having this issue, I used ‘Why No Padlock?’ test on both my websites and am getting “our SSL certificate does not match your domain name” I am trying to get in contact with our hosting company but they have not been helpful previously. any help anyone!!

Hello, I am still having an issue with HTTP and HTTPS, I have viewed source and get this at the top of website home page

I presume this is the issue, is all I have to do is just add s and the end of http, I don’t want to do something that will mess up my website.

I turned off all my plug ins except the ‘open External Links in a new window’ they worked out what plug in was causing the problem, sorted the problem.

Hi, Thanks for that, I figured out i how to change link to https in widget side panel. I am still getting ‘this connection is not private’ in browser safari. I have cleared history and cache etc. Any ideas?

Thanks for the replies and help. I have looked at those images, they are coming up with https when i look at image name. What do you mean ‘ the images are pointing to http’, will I have to manually upload images again? and if so are they best uploaded as gifs. thanks.

Hi, I want to stay away from code as I am only learning but eventually want to take over our website which is being hosted by another company as I only have admin access, so I want to rebuild out website through wordpress, is this the way to go?
