In reply to: [WP Email Users] Sorry, your mail has not sent.Hello?? Can anyone help me??
So I added a couple new notifications for regular post and page. The New Comment under Post in BNFW doesn’t even have an option to send to post author, so unable to test that. Page – New Comment does have that option and I tested that and I get the same result. Author of page does not get a notification unless I untick ‘Comment must be manually approve’.
No, the author of the comment or the author of the post does not get a notification at all. I get the awaiting moderation notification to approve comment but that’s it. I just want the author of the Post to get a notification that someone commented on his post.
These are all custom post types and they all work as expected except for that one which doesn’t trigger an email to the author of the post.

https://take.ms/ITv5jI am using the Custom Post Type for my specific post type called ‘Video Submit’. So drop down reads ‘Video Submit’ New Comment
This is what I’ve been trying to do and it doesn’t work unless I untick ‘Comment must be manually approve’.
I do have New Comment set up for my custom post type and only checked ‘Send this notification to the Author’.
I do have ‘New Comment Awaiting Moderation’ set up as well and I get that email but the email to the author of the post is never received.I have read that and I have everything setup properly. But still the post author does not get a notification when a comment is posted on his post unless I untick ‘Comment must be manually approve’.
