Hi, not working for me either. If I turn on “Enable Flash Settings” in the Gallery Settings that also doesn’t work: it states that I need to have Flash available but when I click on the link, Chrome tells me that it is already installed.

In reply to: [What The File] "What the file" does… nothing.I’m having the same problem. I started by disabling every plugin (except What The File, naturally ?? ) with no luck. I then changed my theme from Hybrid Theme by ThemeFit to 2013 and then it worked.

Well, you were right. I completely removed Cookie Control and placed the Analytics script before the closing HEAD tag and now Google Analytics is tracking my visits once again.
This means that it is invalid for Cookie Control to place the script before the closing BODY tag.
There haven’t been any replies from the author to any support requests lately so perhaps he is dropping it. Pity.
The reason I ask is because the Cookie Control plugin automatically places the Analytics script at the bottom of the HTML just before the closing BODY tag (along with some of its own coding).
Now, if the Analytics script must come before the closing HEAD tag, then Cookie Control is not doing its work properly.

In reply to: [Posts to Newsletters] [Plugin: Posts to Newsletters] Wishlist / enhancementsMy wish list should be very simple to implement ?? :
1. Put in an option to remove the “read more” line.
2. Option to remove the limit on the number of words used in an article or perhaps change the limit (thus making the “read more” logically unnecessary.
Reason for the request: I want to be able to print the newsletter for sending by mail (snail mail).

In reply to: [Image Rotator Widget] [Plugin: Image Rotator Widget] 3.3.2 0.1.6 brokenI’ve just installed this widget and have also noticed that the transition speed is always the same – there is no difference between 1 and 10. I’m using Fade.
I’ve solved this one – I compared the two test sites and changed this one over to permalinks from the default and now everything is OK. Is that a bug in WordPress?
Let me expand on that a bit – my other test site is https://locutorium.com/wordpress/ and you’ll see that the link that you generate is outside of my theme’s “page” and is a dark red on an even darker background. I would like to have it where it now says “Customizable Footer Text”.
Maybe I should just set up a text widget and copy in text from the ICO web site (or from your plugin, if you allowed copying).
It says Welcome to WordPress 3.3.2.
My test site is at https://locutorium.com/wp2010/ so you can try it there – it should have been named wp2011 but it doesn’t matter as it is just for testing.
Has anyone looked at the very discreet BT.COM popup? On my screen it sits on the lower right corner of my page for a few seconds. The first time I looked for it I didn’t even notice it. Second time around I saw it and if you are fast enough you can click on it to say that you agree with it and if you don’t click, your agreement is assumed. Hardly a responsible and well-thought out response by the user.
Listening to the ICO film of Dave Evans I think that at the start all that is expected of us is to show that we are aware that something needs to be done and I think this plugin will cover us at the present. As the other European countries who were probably responsible for this piece of legislation haven’t even got around to implementing it, we’ll need to wait and see how this pans out. It is possible that the UK implementation of the law won’t satisfy the legal requirements of some other states. When we know we can then take further action.
