Hi, We discovered the problem was a plugin called Contextly which updated at the same time as Yoast. Deactivating that plugin solved our problem.

I have the same problem except it only happens on the Content Optimization tab. If I refresh the admin panel it looks fine and then as soon as I roll the cursor over the Content Optimization area (no clicking) all the elements switch to Type=”hidden”. The Social and Advanced tabs are unaffected.

In the browser, I can Inspect the code and in Section ID wpseo-meta-section-content I can edit the content there. This is where I found that each of the input sections in wpseo-meta-section-content switch to Type=”hidden” on cursor roll over.

The change occurred after accepting an update for the plugin Thursday evening EST.

It would be so great to get a fix for this ASAP. Thanks!

I also deactivated deleted and reinstalled wordfence.

Is there a standard place to put files like these in a theme or is customization required so the files are found by the app?

I have tried putting the custom template files directly in the theme root folder and duplicating your app folder structure in the theme app folder but, in either case, they are not found by the app.

FYI, I switched over to open weather temporarily until this is resolved so you won’t see any problem on that above link

The most recent update, Version 3.0.7, did not solve any of the errors that showed up with the the Version 3 update.

My posts still show the following content analysis statements, which are untrue;

– The text contains 1 words. This is far too low and should be increased.
– The focus keyword doesn’t appear in the first paragraph of the copy. Make sure the topic is clear immediately.
– No outbound links appear in this page, consider adding some as appropriate.
– No subheading tags (like an H2) appear in the copy.

When will Yoast SEO work again : (
