Turns out it was The WP Cearfy plugin. They used to have a REST blocker as a feature. Then removed it as a feature, apparently not disabling it for those that had it enabled. Disabling that plugin still kept it enabled, which was the source of the puzzlement. I had to purge all their settings to actually get that feature removed. Thank you so much and I’ll be going pro soon!

It seems to sort fine in the Sueva theme.
I was thinking that perhaps the geometry of each thumbnail may be causing the sort to be screwed up, fitting an earlier date in-between tow later days just because it fits. Maybe that’s how the masonry function prioritizes things.

I see I can force that with Sueva, if i pick a specific page width, but it’s rare.

This would be an awesome addition. Especially if it could remember that preference from page to page.

Yeah.. that would be a nice feature. I think maybe another plugin would come along to handle trimming unused images. It’s pretty risky set of things to delete. I probably wouldn’t use something like that until bugs were worked out.

In the meantime, I have been manually deleting images of certain sizes on some of my sites by finding size with the trialing dimensions in them, which is pretty standard.

Same problem here. Time to join everyone else in the mass-exodus from HostGator. They have completely botched this migration. Some people had weeks of downtime. They went from being the best host out there to complete destruction of their customer’s website in a matter of months.

Yep.. that features has been working for me since it’s release. Such a great plugin. Amazing what it comes up with. And on the special pages I need to turn it off for, that snippet works 100%

It would be great if there was a way to manually prevent it on certain pages. I have custom page types that shit shows up on and some of those custom page types are displayed in an iframe, so this plugin loads multiple times on a page.

A nice feature to have is a small piece of comment text we can add to the html of a page/post we don’t want this to load on.

Also looking for a way to hide that button.

Just ran a test. Created a new size, added images, which it created.
Added them to pages.
Deleted the size.
Images are still there.
Thus deleting the Size in the plugin, only deletes the instruction to create the size, NOT any images created previously.

Disregard med_freeman’s post.

I’m not talking about removing the images themselves just the SETTINGS for GENERATING those sizes.
Thus not really “obvious” and thus my question.

this would be very hand for me. I have a view features of my website pages that are based on pages content, so i get the YARRP showing up multiple times. Otherwise, the plugin is one of the best.
