Hey bji, I’m not sure what the output is of [slideshow id=1] but it sounds like it’s outputting a block element meaning it’s default style is display:block. You could try isolating that element and changing it’s css display to inline, OR you could put each on in a div and float them next to each other. Make sure the total width of the galleries doesn’t exceed the page or the will drop to the next line again.

Do you have the page we could look at the code?

This is really great, however a side effect is that the content section takes on a very odd CSS. Partially from the theme, and partially from default wordpress. For example I have grey background, dark grey text, but the text is centered and the links are default colors… makes for a disconnected experience.

Does anyone know if WordPress is planning on installing a feature like this to wordpress media manager? One that will automatically resize the image for you? I’m hosting my cousin’s blog and if she uses the built in image uploader she uploads about a gig of images b/c she has no idea how to crop and resize. Luckily I told her about live writer, but I’d prefer that it was built in. Anyone have any info?

Yes I’m getting the vague http error and have tried all of the solutions above, minus inserting the patch code. Hopefully this will be a quick jump to 2.5.1 so I can keep blogging.
