Por el momento, no existe una página de “configuración” para desactivar el sistema de check-in/check-out. Sin embargo, puedes copiar el archivo “single-publication.php” del directorio “templates” del complemento y colocarlo en tu tema personalizado. Luego, puede modificar el código para eliminar cualquiera de las partes que hacen referencia a las “transacciones”.

Sin embargo, agregué esta característica a la hoja de ruta, por lo que en futuras versiones esto puede ser posible.

At the moment, there is no “settings” page to disable the check-in/check-out system. However, you can copy the “single-publication.php” file from the “templates” directory in the plugin and place it in your custom theme. Then, you can modify the code to remove any of the parts that reference the “transactions”.

I’ve added this feature to the roadmap, however, so in future releases this may be possible.

If you’ve found out that you can use a <br> tag, you won’t be surprised to find out that you can also wrap the text you want larger/smaller in a span and set a font size.

Ex: Some Normal Text and<br><span style="font-size: 45px;">Some Larger Text</span>

Chris, your use case makes sense to me. I think it’s probably best to include this as an option instead of forcing one way or the other.

Thanks for reaching out! Interesting that the plugin wasn’t working as expected with the simple permalinks. If you have a fix for that, I’d be happy to incorporate it ??

As for the check-in/out working when not being logged in, that is by design. This plugin was created as a solution for a middle school in-classroom library. In this case, students would not have a login to use to check books in and out. Having the option to secure that behind a login would be a nice addition, though.

I also like the idea of having a listing of all the checked out books as well. Might be something to be added as a filterable/sortable column in the admin area.

Hi Nora – there isn’t currently a way to export the book list from the plugin, though you could conceivably export a list using a different plugin that exports post type data. I might recommend something like WP All Export: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-all-export/
