In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Permalinks not picking up taxonomies created by CPT UIThank you very much, it’s all making a lot more sense now.
For yourself or those interested, I found this plug called Custom Post Type Permalinks and its been working flawlessly with CPT UI as far as I can tell. It solves the problem I was looking for of having custom post types, categories, and custom taxonomies all in the permalink structure. Its a clean and lightweight plugin just like CPT UI.

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Theme functionality missing from custom postThank you very much. I contacted the theme developer and they provided me with a snippet to add to my function.php file, and it worked perfectly.
I informed Visual Composer of the problem as well, here is a link to it:
I figured out the problem ??
Two of the biggest WordPress Plugins are not playing nice together, lol, JW Player and Visual Composer https://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431
So if you remember, I have had almost no luck getting JW Player to work on my site properly, and by that I mean all features and functions working together in any configuration (stretching modes, poster frames, html5, flash, full screen, and the ability to skip around the timeline prior to fully downloading the video (just like YouTube)).
All I have been able to get working was flash, non-responsive, and no full screen (or some variation of that).
However today, flipped from the Visual Composer’s Backend Editor, to WPs Classic WYSIWYG editor, and everything worked great, no more problems. I did not have to disable or uninstall Visual Composer, I just didn’t use their Backend Editor when making my post.
I am going to let them know about the problem as well, and hopefully one of you guys can get things fixed. BTW you should be partnering with Visual Composer and be included in their distributions. They have an AWESOME PRODUCT and I’m seeing them included in most of the theme’s I purchase these days.
Can you please post back, if you know how to fix the problem. It’s probably best you get the plugin and play with it so you can see all the bugs (I think they have a free demo that is installable).
Thank you for your support.
I know, but that was because of the h.264 profile. I encoded the wrong settings, however it is unrelated (as far as I know) to this problem.
I rendered a proper mp4 h264 and made four players all on the same page, each one set to a different stretching option.
KEEP ORIGINAL DIMENSIONS:
Works GREAT, with the exception of Full Screen. Full Screen is half screen ??STRETCHING DISPROPORTIONALLY
STRETCHING PROPORTIONALLY (black borders)
STRETCHING PROPORTIONALLY (parts cut off)
None of these three work at all for HTML 5I did use a different codec on the mp4 on that video, and the error your getting is because of that, but that is a separate deal.
The plugin seems to be extremely picky, because its always one thing or the other. What I mean is, I have never been able to get it to play an mp4 as HTML5 responsive with poster and full screen working properly and jumping ahead on the timeline, with flash working the same way as a fallback; or visa versa.
I can get variations of those options, but never all at the same time. Because I had to things working, I settled with Flash mp4, and everything works but jumping ahead on the timeline.
Here is another example, that was working fine as flash, but I just switched it over to the same player as the previous videos, so it should be playing html5 but it just hangs.
