In reply to: [AMP] Understand Errors in Version 1.0.02 side notes: A limitation of AMP is 50KB or less worth of CSS. That is not mandated by this plugin, that is a core AMP requirement. This plugin is going to do everything it can to sanitize your pages to make it AMP compliant. If it fails, then you might have a theme that is not AMP compliant or too much on-page programming to make it AMP compliant. In that case, you can turn AMP off for that page in the post editor or restructure the on-page content.

In reply to: [AMP] AMP 1.0.0 validation errorsWhat you are seeing is not exactly errors, you are seeing the plugin sanitizing the page and removal of unnecessary scripts to make AMP compliant. You should check the AMP page and if the content is OK, then yes ACCEPT them. Then, check the AMP version via the Google validator.
@davewarfel You will notice in your blog that when you disabled blog post subscriptions and only enabled comments, Jetpack turned it back on. Apparently, you can’t have one or the other.

In reply to: [AMP] AMP turned off on all posts when activatedCorrect, I want to install the plugin but the plugin not create any AMP pages on posts, pages, or categories until I turn it on in the post editor per page. Once I get all my posts validated, I will then enable by default to get categories.
Thank you again!

In reply to: [AMP] Need help deciding if AMP makes sense for meIt can take Google a few weeks to find all your AMP pages, do you have a sitemap?

In reply to: [AMP] Need help deciding if AMP makes sense for meI SEE THIS URL AMP PAGE but when I searched it via Google on mobile I did not see the AMP badge.
The AMP on that page is valid.
That tells me Google hasn’t crawled it set and taken the AMP in to it’s Google Cache yet.
Look at your Google Search Console and see how many AMP pages Google has discovered.
Did you set a AMP page for your home page?

In reply to: [AMP] V1 RC2 on Colormag ThemeOK, I clicked on the link from another support question where you sent me to RC2 a week ago. You have the RC3 link?
I can report RC2 sanitizes, validates, passes mobile and structured data testing. Comments are in AMP pages, categories and pages work as well. And related posts work.
All this on Colormag. Thank you from getting me away from that other shady AMP plugin!

In reply to: [AMP] Need help deciding if AMP makes sense for meCan you do without having a contact form IN your AMP pages? I just put a link to my site contact form and turned AMP off on that specific page. It might be better to tell me what types of programming you have on your pages.
AMP can be turned off for certain pages and posts.

In reply to: [AMP] Need help deciding if AMP makes sense for meFor a site like yours, it does not make sense. It is best for News sites and large blogs where traffic and ranking is critical.
AMP pages will get much much better placement in the SERPS on mobile devices, so by installing AMP your AMP page could rank much higher if you don’t have good placement.
If all you have on pages is an image and text, then that will work. If you have a any java/php/contact forms on the page the page won’t validate.
If your sites pages have good ranking, I’d say skip it.
