In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Is Yoast incompatible with new WordPress version?I’m not Michael but WP 5.2 sends an error alert to the admin email address, not sure if you are the admin, if you are I’d check your spam folder to see if it wound up there.
I shared the details of what the email says in my post if it helps to know what to look for.

I got some different advice based on the error, I uninstalled and reinstalled Yoast and it did help, but it looks like there is a bug report generated based on a reply further in my thread.
And I can confirm, the plugin has been updated, so if you can access your plugin folder you can update to Yoast SEO 17.2.1Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Uncaught ErrorThank you for sharing that! I’ll do a check of my installation and test it and come back with any results.
I quite like the way I have the breadcrumbs coded and will probably stick with it, but I have another site I need to put bread crumbs into and this might still be a block I want to use in the future.
And thanks to the team, not sure if they get to see that, so I’ll check the other threads ??Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Uncaught ErrorYeah, there are a few of us, but the solution works if you have admin rights to uninstall and reinstall Yoast.
I might just add a little more info in case it helps anyone else.
I have auto-update set for plugins and WP.
I have a cache plugin that let’s me know when there are changes to plugins and so encourage clearing cache where appropriate.
I encountered this error only when I used the breadcrumbs block, for the first time. And it almost immediately crashed the editor for that page, but only that page.
Then WP sent me an email immediately:“Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Yoast SEO.
First, visit your website () and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (post.php?post=xx&action=edit&message=x) and check for any visible issues.
Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.
If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.”I used the recovery mode link, then grabbed the error code and tried looking up previous support requests here, noticed there was at least one other person with the exact same error with no solution at that stage.
But yes, uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing plugin cache did work.
It’s the age old solution, but it worked.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Uncaught ErrorI managed to test the block and it seems to be okay. So yes, this can be closed, thank you.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Uncaught ErrorThank you, I’ve reinstalled now, cleared the cache in my plugin folder, and browser cache.
I haven’t tried using the breadcrumb block again, but I’ve got the breadcrumb code back in my site now so thank you.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster] Autoposting errorIt appears yes, a security update:

“We apologize for problems some have had this week! Two causes: 1) Mark is making changes to improve site response, with some trial & error.”Dreamwidth
October 4 at 2:34pm“2) we’ve begun to load securely for everyone visiting the site, not just ppl in the beta, and promptly found the last bugs the beta didn’t!”
So this may mean a temporary issue (a bug) or permanent (secure loading). In reading the comments this is an issue affecting at least one other person, probably more who haven’t thought to check in.
I will update with any info from Dreamwidth in case it helps others.

In reply to: [NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster] Autoposting errorI just tried posting again and was able to see the rest of the error:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /social-networks-auto-poster-facebook-twitter-g/nxs_functions.php:2) in post.php on line 197Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /social-networks-auto-poster-facebook-twitter-g/nxs_functions.php:2) in pluggable.php on line 1210
This has only happened since the last update. I have tried looking through dreamwidth’s news and maintenance journals to see if there has been an update on their end- or my settings.
I do have breadcrumbs code in my header.php file, and as the error mentions headers I’ll see if moving them helps.

In reply to: [DsgnWrks Importer for Instagram] Continually stalls, unable to uninstall.I was able to uninstall by renaming the plugin folder and then uninstalling.
I am still interested in updates to this plugin and any changes to help with the stalling issue.

In reply to: [Jkreativ Lite] Problems with youtube videosThank you so much! It’s a pity to have to create a div class but this is a really easy and elegant solution ?? I haven’t yet dug around for the style sheet but adding it in the css editor on my dash worked just as above ??
Now to go back through my blog to find all my embedded video..
Again thanks heaps.
