Why do you want this done? I am a bit hesitant to display an email address (or a partial one) when someone enters the same code. This is a good way to leak user data.

Currently invalid contest codes are saved as well. You want an option to not save those invalid codes is that what I understand? Can you tell me your use case so I can make sure to implement the functionality that will solve it.

This has now been fixed in 1.5.3 when the “pop-up” option was enabled validation was not running. Sorry about that. I appreciate you reporting the problem to me.
