Hm… okay, I will use this option when this function is updates. It is really cool if it really syncs with the comments on facebook. Maybe checking one time a day or so… and updating automatically. I guess there would be many problems if the user has no option to delete those comments from the blog (the facebook comment user)… could lead to problems.

That is true. But how about my request to change the defaults to unchecked boxes to let the users decide if they want to use your ID? Better than having those checkboxes checked by default. So IF this error occours (like in my case) there will not your ID be used.

I did nothing. I have even not updates to your latest version, yet. The setting just jumped back to it’s defaults. How about changing the option to a non-checked optionbox of “Use the developers UD”? So that it will never ever happen accidently that someone looses his affiliate-money to you? That would be a good and fair step forwards.

I had to modify all css classes to get it work again. I don′t like those major changes, espacially in changing css classes. Never do that, it is pretty bad for every website owner…

Ah okay, I did not know that. I thought, WordPress would no longer update it automatically. Thanks for the hint.

Okay… than I still have to wait. I don′t like manual updates. I like to download from the official WordPress Library and also update from there.

still waiting for your plugin. As I said: 1.7.8b is not being notified as an update. I use 1.7.8 and it would have been great if you would have answered my last posts or uploaded a version like 1.7.9 or so. But you did not.

When opening the plugin website within WordPress there is the information, that MY installed version is NEWER than the recent version in the web. So for WordPress my version 1.7.8 is newer than 1.7.8b. Now you understand? Hope so.

PS:

I again created an example post called “sitemap test”. It was published. I checked the XML Sitemap settings and – again – these errors occoured:

“There was a problem writing your sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable. Learn more
There was a problem writing your zipped sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable. Learn more”

The file is defintivly writeable (777), both files. And both of course exist. What′s wrong there?

Could it be that WordPress does not recognize 1.7.8b as an update for me? Maybe WP just checks the numbers 1.7.8 without recognizing the “b”. So maybe if you call it 1.7.9 my WP would show the update for me!?

No, I did not try the manual update. I don′t know why I am not getting the update… I get all updates of other plugins and I got the update for 1.7.8, too… but not for 1.7.8b. :-/

When I update manually, does WP still update to newer versions then or do I have to update the plugin manually all the time then?

… and still no update available. Still using 1.7.8 and NOT 1.7.8b, because it is not delivered through the updates……………………
