In reply to: [Synchi] lagging and no loadingThank you for reminding me why I stopped wasting time on Synchi…
You managed to twist the facts, and attack me yet again without solid ground. Congratulations, you’re now a successful Internet troll.
Its the same on other threads as well. On the other one everyone was simply asking for help, [no rating was included in this one] but did you help? No! And for no good reason. You just had a mini rant about having no donations and doing this for free, and having to maintain 6 other plugins.....
Hmm….yeah, but it’s just that I DID help in NUMEROUS threads but you just missed those, right? Mini rant about DONATIONS?? Really? I just mentioned that as a fact and proof that people ask for things but don’t give back. But you do twist those facts, do you now, troll?
You call me a troll, but im just calling you out on the fact that you're more than willing to go on about how you put these plugins out for free, but never help anyone and only provide that dialogue as a response! Are these folks not worthy of your help with your plugin??
Yes, you’re a troll, troll. And this is my last reply to you as a matter of fact. As for the stupidest thing ever said – that I didn’t help anyone and only gave rants – you’re also a liar. But then you must have that, you’re a troll…
Good bye troll. You’re too random to be taken seriously.

In reply to: [Synchi] lagging and no loading“FEARtheMoose”, you’re a troll. Feel free to rate the non-working plugin with one star yourself and don’t go through the trouble of actually reading the argument behind.
Oh, and: “I will devote my free time to support a free piece of software in fear of people writing stupid comments on the support forum” said no one, ever…

In reply to: [Synchi] Can't switch between Visual and Text ModesSynchi is old…I wrote it when I first encountered WordPress and I’m not proud of the architecture behind, but it did work. The biggest possible contribution to Synchi would not be any kind of a donation to it’s author – since I never aimed for that – but for developers to join in and provide support and further development. Heck, I would even try to find the time to help…but when you’re getting tons of requests and zero help it’s really hard to even consider investing time and energy into this…

In reply to: [Synchi] Can't switch between Visual and Text ModesDear everyone,
Accept regards from the plugin author. The truth is that plugin claims tho be compatible up to version 4.1.7 of WordPress. Another truth is that WordPress makes you install updates and does make changes. So, if you have 6 plugins published like I do you get a notification saying “hey review your plugins…”. That’s 6 plugins I developed, published and gave to WP users for free…in my free time.
Some Stats:
Active Installs: 3,000+
Donations: 0I am very sorry to disappoint you guys but I really really find it hard to find the time to maintain Synchi and the team behind WordPress clearly doesn’t care about good open source plugins enough to provide some kind of a partnership program – like YouTube for example… And now WP changed their editor to the extent that Synchi will clearly not work with it. If I ever do find the time to deal with that, I will, but I cannot make any promises here.

In reply to: [Synchi] Allow editing .inc filesHi,
Can you elaborate on what plugins use “.inc” files so that I can avoid them forever?
Since you’re clearly doing some improvements – why not checkout the code – improve and become a contributor?

In reply to: [Synchi] Broken Link to Donation PageUnfortunately, the country I am born in makes it very hard or impossible to receive online donations legally. This is why I am not able to accept them at all until some kind of a revolution happens ??
I appreciate people it when people want to contribute more than you think, so thank you.

In reply to: [Synchi] Is there a way to not using synchi by default ?Hi,
Apparently this changed with some WP update and I didn’t follow with updating the plugin. Can you test a bit more to make sure this happens every time although you exit the page with the “Visual” composer in focus and I will take a look at it myself as soon as I catch some time.
Tnx,

In reply to: [Synchi] lagging and no loadingWell, looks like you’re the one not seeing the “other side”. So, let’s really go into details:
– You download a plugin for FREE made by someone in their private time and provided to you at no cost
– You spent “5” minutes to see that “it is not working in a fresh install” although the author spent hours and days making it work on a fresh install
– There’s thousands of people using the plugin without your issue – but your conclusion is not “it’s not working on MY instance” but “it’s not working” and you give it one starNow, let’s go into details about your absurd comment:
“So, i don’t know why to give more than one star?”
– Don’t review what you haven’t experienced, it’s unfair, disrespectful and plain stupid“Sure, it can always be a matter of hosting”
– Yes, and in 99% cases it is either that or either a conflicting plugin. I didn’t make WordPress and didn’t make the rules how plugins work. The same goes for PHP, Apache and whatever server you’re using.“the other way is: a good developer makes some checks for used functions, and throws at least an error which describes the malfunction ;-)”
– Not gonna go into a discussion with you if I’m a good developer or not, but this is nothing less of an insult to write about someone’s effort.“I don’t want to say: your plugin is ugly.”
– You might as well said it, but it would not make any difference since you never experienced a single piece of it’s functionality.“I give 1 star because it is not working and i don’t get feedback why.”
– No, you gave it 1 star before getting any feedback and there’s a big difference there. To sum up – no, I am not gonna waste a single minute time supporting a piece of code I’ve built ages ago because some arrogant WP user gives it one star and expects me to ignore my life so that I can commit to understanding why the hell my plugin doesn’t work on his WP instance.
The only reason I’ve written this and spent 5 minutes on it is so that it can stay here and explain the subject to all the other fine gentlemen out there thinking software should be free and devs should waste their time building it, supporting it and maintaining for them it so that they can sit in their comfortable chair, install plugins and do whatever they do.

In reply to: [Synchi] Content not loading after updateHi to all experiencing this issue. Can you please make sure that plugin files (especially that one – tree.php) have proper user permissions?
Let me know if that solves the problem. If not, can you check your server logs for any errors, warnings or exceptions?
