In reply to: [Regenerate Thumbnails] Automatically regenerating thumbnailsThe Regenerate Thumbnails plugin shouldn’t be automatically creating new thumbnails for you. The process should only be running if you navigate to Tools > Regenerate Thumbnails and use one of the two buttons to generate thumbnails for your images.
Are you sure there isn’t another plugin or custom code on your site that could be causing this?
Do you find that this happens regardless of what plugins you deactivate/active or does it only happen for specific plugins?

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Listing Expiry Date: apiYou can find information about the WP Job Manager API in our documentation here:
https://wpjobmanager.com/document/advanced-usage/wp-job-manager-rest-api/
I hope this helps, but if you have any questions about this, please let us know.
We don’t have a feature built-in for something like this, but if you wanted to have some courses publicly visible and some that are private, you may want to consider setting up a separate site for the private courses and enabling the Access Permissions settings for that site:
https://senseilms.com/documentation/settings/#access-permissions
Since that’s a third-party block, it isn’t something that we directly test with. Is there anything specific that this block achieves for you that you’d like to see added in Sensei’s blocks? I’d be happy to forward it along to our developers as a feature request.
The Student Courses block wouldn’t be the legacy option. With the WordPress editor’s transition to blocks, we will be focusing on Sensei’s blocks going forward. The shortcode could be thought of as the legacy option, however we don’t have any plans to retire it any time soon.
The Course List block and the Student Courses block do behave differently in that the Course List block is designed to show all courses on the site, which can be adjusted using the Course Filter block as you mentioned. Whereas the Student Courses block is designed to show relevant courses to logged in users — for example, to show courses that a student is enrolled in.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Permalinks wrong?@konak75, if changing your slug settings doesn’t do the trick, are you able to make the page public so we can take a look?

In reply to: [Sensei LMS - Online Courses, Quizzes, & Learning] Course completionHi @convidentcas, the learner does need to mark the course as complete once they’ve completed the quiz. We don’t currently have a way to automatically mark the course as complete when a quiz is completed.
I would first suggest that you double check to make sure the course/lesson has a status of “Published” — it isn’t saved as a draft. Often that is the cause of an error like this. ??
If you’re still having trouble, though, please let us know!

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] No number of views/impressions since a week@dubaidogfish the fix that we referenced was included in the 2.4.0 update. Could you share with us a bit more about what you’re seeing on your end?
Also, can you confirm whether you’ve done a conflict test? This can be done by temporarily switching to a default theme and disabling all non-essential plugins. You can then re-enable each plugin one-by-one and test in between.
You’re very welcome! And please reach out if you have any other questions at all!
If you’ve already reached out to us through the support form, you should hear back from us soon. It’s possible you may have received an automatic response after reaching out, though. If that’s the case, you can reply to that email to get in touch with our support team directly and we can assist from there. ??
Hello there, @tanyarts!
I have a few questions that use the description, they have gone missing, not sure when, but it’s not too long ago.
Could you share a bit more about this? Are you referring to a paragraph within a question block that you are using as a description for the question? Or are you using some sort of custom block or plugin that adds a description field?

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Connect Jobs to CompanyPerhaps I may have misunderstood your goals. My apologies for that.
In my company file it says “0 open positions” but I cannot link any position to it.
Could you tell me a bit more about where you’re at on your site when seeing this? Are you viewing your site’s frontend or in WP Admin?
The Job Manager plugin doesn’t treat the company associated with a job like a tag or category, it’s simply additional information that’s added to the job listing, but it isn’t used to display all jobs from a specific company, for example. Are you using another plugin to add this functionality or did you have something else in mind?

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Connect Jobs to CompanyWhen submitting a job, you can add the details of the company associated with the job listing. You can see this in our documentation here:
If you’d like to edit an existing job, to add/edit details about the company associated with it, this can be done from the Job Dashboard by clicking on the listing’s title or the “Edit” action item:

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Latest Version Breaks SearchThat’s certainly unexpected! We haven’t heard from others about this, so it sounds like it could be a conflict of some kind. Have you tried temporarily switching to a default theme, such as Twenty Twenty, disabling all other plugins, re-enabling them one-by-one, and testing in between each plugin activation? That may help you find the cause of the issue.
