In reply to: [Comments - wpDiscuz] Comments orderI already had the settings just like your image so I tried switching the page from last to first and now the page of newer comments displays first (which is how they displayed before I installed your plug-in). I’m not sure why it works this way but I’m glad to find a solution.
Thanks for your plugin and speedy help. I’m making a donation now. ??

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Messages saved on server as "Feedback"Thanks very much. That helps a lot.
I think that is where the Feedback page is coming from.
I’ve switched to Jetpack’s forms and I’m getting the emails and the info is also showing up under Feedback.

Same here. Back to searching for another solution I guess.

In reply to: Customizing the read more linkI believe I solved it. I changed the second TRUE to FALSE and that seems to have eliminated the #more + post id info in the links.

In reply to: Customizing the read more linkI didn’t think of using a plug-in to accomplish this. Unfortunately, I’m not getting the result I need.
The first plug-in, Less, didn’t have any effect. The second one was very good and changed the More link in all cases except where I really need it — in the Search results.
Thanks very much for the suggestions though.
Do you or anyone else know how to make the change in the code that I posted above?

In reply to: Gone?I’m far from an expert but I’ve had a similar problem and know what it feels like.
I believe it was caused by errors and exceeding the php memory allocation. My site’s on its own server so I rebooted the Apache server for a quick fix. Then I increased the amount of memory that WP could use.
Are you able to do that? Or, are you on a shared host? If the latter, you might want to contact them for help.

In reply to: Increase Speed Of LoadingJust trying to get it to work. The plug-in was activated but didn’t seem to be caching. If you do a search, you’ll find a few other people had the same issue.

In reply to: Increase Speed Of LoadingI’ve had good luck with WP-SuperCache but had a little bit of an issue getting it to work properly. Just my $.02.

In reply to: Change mysql_connection () to mysql_pcconnection () ?I’ve done both and still have problems. I suspect my theme’s coding has issues but I don’t know a lot about it. The designers who have done the work are being flaky right now. Any recommendations for someone that could check coding and optimize?

In reply to: Change mysql_connection () to mysql_pcconnection () ?Thanks for trying. I’m looking into getting a dedicated server but was trying to find a temporary fix in the meantime.

Once I did that though, the site doesn’t show up anymore. The homepage, the admin area, everything is just a blank page. I changed the line back and the site was back.
Any suggestions?
