Hi David, thanks for your reply.
So are you saying by upgrading to the pro version, I can get a front facing page to display like this:
Nike Blue (This heading is the Slug – created in the “Portfolio Category” section of Avada)
Nike Blue hi-top (This is a portfolio item with the category for Nike Blue ticked)
Nike Blue low-top (This is a portfolio item with the category for Nike Blue ticked)Nike Gold (This heading is the Slug – created in the “Portfolio Category” section of Avada)
Nike Gold hi-top (This is a portfolio item with the category for Nike Gold ticked)
Nike Gold low-top (This is a portfolio item with the category for Nike Gold ticked)Nike Red (This heading is the Slug – created in the “Portfolio Category” section of Avada)
Nike Red hi-top (This is a portfolio item with the category for Nike Red ticked)
Nike Red low-top (This is a portfolio item with the category for Nike Red ticked)Thanks.

Sorry a third thing – After more reading, I think I need to sort by custom taxonomy slug.
I was maybe mixing up taxonomy and slug. Sorry. So I see it as three stages of hierarchy:
Custom Post Type = avada_portfolio
Taxonomy = portfolio_category
Slug = rmeI need to sort by slug. I hope that makes sense ??
Are you able to supply the shortcode for this? This would allow me to filter exactly as described in the very first post of this thread. Thanks.
I’ve tried RME and rme by the way ??
Hi, thanks for the reply but I’m afraid this didn’t work for me.
My custom post type name is definitely “avada_portfolio” as this sometimes works (see below).
Regarding my taxonomy – In Avada, I allocate categories to each portfolio item and so I think my taxonomy is “rme” as this is one of the category names (slugs) I have created.
My findings:
1
[simple-sitemap-group types=’pages, posts’]
The above only lists posts. It seems anything with the prefix “simple-sitemap-group” whatever other shortcode you add, this only looks at posts.2
[simple-sitemap-group type=’avada_portfolio’ tax=’RME’]
The above fails to list any item. “No posts found”.3
[simple-sitemap types=’avada_portfolio’ tax=’RME’]
Note “group” is absent above. This lists all my portfolio items proving the name of my custom post type is “avada_portfolio” but it does not filter only tax=”rme”.4
[simple-sitemap type=’avada_portfolio’ tax=’RME’]
The above only filters pages. This entire message is live here if you want to see the results: https://www.fridaytest.com.gridhosted.co.uk/sitemap/
NOTE: I am NOT using the pro version of simple sitemap – do I need to?
Thanks.
I also have this requirement. So in Avada, I have about 100 portfolio items, which are roughly grouped into 10 categories, with 10 items in each category. It would be cool to have the sitemap list each category heading, then list the pertinent 10 items, then the next category heading and the 10 items for that and so on.
A list of 100 portfolio items without being broken up into categories like this is not very appealing or easy to look and to scan to find what you might be looking for.
Also… For me, some items belong in more than one category, as such I’d like the to appear in the sitemap twice or more, under the correct category headings. Is this possible? Thank you!!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] YOAST Sitemap seems to be broken. Thanks for your reply.
I get this error:
“Error loading stylesheet: A network error occurred loading an XSLT stylesheet:https://sprintconvergence.co.uk/main-sitemap.xsl”I gather this would be a 404 or other error, so I follow the link on your support article – the third bullet point taking me to this support article:
https://kb.yoast.com/kb/xml-sitemap-errors/
None of these symptoms listed describe my issue. The only one I thought it could potentially be is the fourth one down. I tried the resaving the permalinks anyway (the suggested fix) – but this didn’t change anything.
Any idea what to try next please? Thank you.

Hi, can you remove my personal email from the top of this thread? (or delete it entirely)?
I shouldn’t have included it, but it’s started to google, so I’d be grateful if you could delete that 1 line. Thanks.

In reply to: Plugin needed to allow users to build their own song playlist – ideas?Would be equally useful without the capability of playing the audio (so just a database search). Thanks.
