Oh, gotcha – I see that now. Yeah, it’s kind of mixed in there. It’s ok though – I have found another plugin that I can use in conjunction with yours that will direct all external links to a new tab, so that problem is solved. Thanks for the plugin!

So, I figured out the problem. Two problems, actually. The first is that my standard rates table only had 5-digit zip codes listed and didn’t account for Zip+4 zip codes (US addresses), and my most recent order that didn’t calculate tax had a Zip+4 entered so it didn’t recognize it. I’ve fixed that by just adding the wildcard * after each zip code so it’ll calculate tax when a Zip+4 is entered.

The second issue also has to do w/ the rates table. My zip code in the rates table lists a regional title rather than the city name, so when I put my mailing address in, the city “names” don’t match, so therefore WooCommerce doesn’t calculate tax. I have temporarily fixed that as well by just replacing city names throughout the entire table with the wildcard *.

It did make me realize the limitations of the WooCommerce tax calculation system, though – people do make typing errors, so all it takes is one little typo and the customer doesn’t get charged tax. I guess I will have to look for a plugin that will validate addresses w/ the USPS during checkout.

Any idea yet on what could be causing this?

Yes, it did display only on the page load after item was removed from cart, but I thought there was an option to not display the message at all? Is that not the case?

I did add the app id, but had to remove it b/c it’s actually not live yet – still in approval process – won’t work till it’s in live mode.

I was hoping you had the fix for the popup, but I think I understand you to say that you don’t.

Thanks anyway – would’ve been the perfect plugin for my needs otherwise. Just not a fan of the way it opens in a new tab.

I have my own SSL certificate – that’s not the issue. I apparently was under the impression that the page this form resided on would be an “https” page, set by the plugin. I don’t see a URL for the form itself anywhere, so I don’t know what you’re talking about.
