They’re back at it again. After updating to 2.3.1 the problem went away, but now it is back. I have the which: no fetch code back on my site. I was reading https://tropicalseo.com/2007/andyhaganscom-hacked-can-you-help-me-out/ and it seems like the same sort of problem, however it seems to be related to Dreamhost. Could this now be related to BlueHost?

If I do need to delete everything, would backing up the database present any problems for the new site?

Last question, I had a directory on my site that was also hacked they placed a folder full of porn in it. should I put all new directories in the wp-content folder for better protection, or should I just add .htaccess files to them? The permissions are 755.

As it turns out, all I needed to do was update to 2.3.1 and the problem went away. I also resubmitted my site to google for reconsideration.

I am glad I did not follow your advice.

Hey msadventures thanks for catching that missing div, but I am still seeing the problem in IE 6. I haven’t checked it in IE 7 yet.

Now on some versions of IE I’m not getting the images at all. Let me just go over my steps to make sure I implemented it correctly. I uploaded the replacePngTags.php into my theme folder, then I added <?php ob_start(); ?> to my header as the first thing inside my body tag and <?php
include_once ‘replacePngTags.php’;
echo replacePngTags(ob_get_clean());
?> to my footer as the last thing inside my body tag. Then I added the spacer.png to my images folder where the .png’s I want to display are found. That’s it right? When I browsed his example files I didn’t see the code above. Thanks again.

I’ve been working on a new site lately and as much trouble as .png’s are I can’t stop using them. I’ve read everything I can possibly find on implementing .png fixes for IE and I’m currently using this https://koivi.com/ie-png-transparency/ php fix. However browsershots.org reveals that I’m still not getting transparency in IE. Especially the bullets in the sidebar. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I am hoping to have each student have their own section so that other students can’t see each others grades. However I could get tricky and use the last 4 of their social or something instread of their names.

Ideally though I’d like to have each person be able to log in to their section. I may need to mix and match WordPress and PHPbb or something to pull it off.

I think I’ve got the hang of it now. I think I was getting confused with the way it was revealing the errors. I was looking for < or > tags and in reality it was a whole </div> tag. Thanks again.

Thanks everyone, I think I needed a second set of eyes to look over that and get me on track. I fixed a bunch of them, however I can’t seem to get these last few errors to go away. There is something weird with the form and table elements and I’ve checked and double checked the code where it says I’m missing end tags and they’re in my template so I’m not sure how to fix them. Once again thank you for any advice.

Yeah, switching my theme isn’t really an option as it is kind of my “brand”. There has to be a way to make this work, their forum has not offered any suggestions. It is a really cool looking plugin but it may have to go if I can’t get it to work.

Any one else have any suggestions or at least point me toward a solution. I think I just need to be able to adjust the width of the falbum div.
