I did, a while back. It was really focused on building a pay-for-listing type of site – which is not what my clients were looking for – and IIRC, there wasn’t a good way to shut that stuff off. Job Manager didn’t have that focus, but there were some serious problems that I haven’t been able to overcome. One of the biggest is that Gary didn’t allow for pagination on the back end. At one point my client had over 2,000 applicants in the database and the application listing in the admin area was trying to pull and display all of them at once. Completely ridiculous. The entire thing slows to a crawl. I finally had to wipe out all of the Job Manager-related data in order to clean it up. Not the easiest thing to do when he has all of the data saved into the posts table. No idea why he didn’t give his plugin its own table for storing that stuff.
I actually got so tired of waiting for this guy to get his interest back that I paid another developer to build one. I’m working on a site right now that will use it. If you’re interested, I’ll let you know when I have something to show.
It would appear not. It seems the developer got himself a job at Automattic and lost interest in his plugin. Shame, too, because he had a decent roadmap that he’s now more than a year behind on.
No idea what’s going on here, Mike?
Thanks from me too, Nick. This plugin is really handy!
Thanks, Nick. Good to know we can post at StudioPress. Like WebEndev, I wasn’t sure that was kosher.

In reply to: Media Library not displaying mediaWish I could offer more details. I ended up canning the whole site and starting from scratch; it’s running well now. I thought perhaps it had something to do with plugin conflicts, but the renewed site is running the same set as before. Who knows? Gremlins, I guess.

In reply to: Media Library not displaying mediaCannobbio, that’s the same configuration I was running, without seeing the fix. Strange. Anyway, I’ve since rolled back, so I can’t do any more testing.

In reply to: Media Library not displaying mediaHotfix doesn’t work on a WP e-Commerce installation either.
Thanks for the walk through, everything’s working now.
I’m having much the same issue, though I can still see the front of my site. For now, I’ve deleted the plugin via FTP.
Adding my voice to the chorus: I had an issue tonight on one of the sites I’m building. I fired off an email to the developers and within minutes Jon was working with me to figure out what was up. I have the WP installation buried one level down rather than at the root level, and Jon had to change some code to allow for that.
This plugin has great potential for CMS sites, and I’m jazzed at the thought of what I’ll be able to pull off without having to register 20 sidebars first. Great job, guys!

In reply to: [eShop] [Plugin: eShop] Deny checkout until a quantity is reachedWish I could do that. But since he’s allowing the customer to choose from among all 16 products to fill up the 6 or 12 spots in the shipping box, I can’t simply do that.

In reply to: [Plugin: Job Manager] Email formattingFormatting along the lines of what we can do with the job list template and the individual job template. The whole build-a-table-with-embedded-shortcodes thing. This is what’s possible with contact-form-7, if you’re familiar with that plugin.
The problem is that my client has a problem with reading what she calls the “messy emails” because she’s used to the old system we built for her that produced pretty HTML emails. So she’s spoiled.
She and her HR department LOVE this plug-in and are trying to get approval to send you a sizable donation. Not that I’m trying to offer a bribe, but to let you know they think your work kicks ass!
