Figured it out. A plugin had the meta codes in it. Once I got rid of that all was back to normal.

That kind of sucks because I like many of the wysiwg features! Is there another option? I’ve also found that it’s putting in a bad <strong /> tag WTF??

Same problem here, only the strong tags also multiply. I’m presuming because that bad tag is making the editor think it needs to close them.

I just ran into this same problem. 5 categories with posts in all but the site shows NO categories. I figured out that since my posts were set to private that is why. If I changed the posts to published the categories show up fine.

So for some reason private posts aren’t showing up in the categories list.

I use firefox and installed the editcss plugin. You just hold your mouse down and select editcss. The css appears as a panel on the left and you can make changes there. You see the changes live to whatever page you are on. Then when I get the css I want I just copy and paste it.

I bet your apache server in tiger doesn’t have php installed or enabled or something like that.
