  • Hi @zana711,

Sorry for the long wait, and thanks for your patience! I see what you mean about not being able to enter any text into the Subscribe forms on Chrome, and it looks like it’s related to something preventing clicks from “focusing” on those input elements.

I notice that your site is using either a plugin or code that’s making adjustments to click actions, and I wonder if you could try to adjust or outright disable those settings, if we’d see the forms work properly again.

If that’s not the case, could you send us an email at [email protected], so we can try some further troubleshooting please?

Thanks, and have a great day!

    Hi @hmnvtn,

Sorry for the long wait, and thanks for your patience! We’re still making a few more updates dealing with the recent changes to ratings and reviews. We should have an updated version of Create released soon with those functioning as normal once again.

In the meantime, while we don’t advise rolling back to previous versions that may not contain all the latest security patches, you can find those older versions in the Advanced options here.

    Have a great day!

    Hi @juanwp22,

Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the long wait! You’re right, it looks like one of those requests is referencing our plugin.

If you’re still noticing this, could you please reach out to [email protected] along with your site, the above screenshot, and any other related details you may have? That way we can take a closer look.

Thanks, and have a great day!

    Hi @painlessseo,

I apologize for the long wait! Sometimes you may not see the heart/save icon immediately after installing Grow, or right after a post has been published because it takes a bit of time for Grow to create an internal bookmark. However, that would generally be a fast process, and should be displaying by now.

If you’re still not seeing those icons, it’s more likely that you may need to take a look at the Share Settings Options found under Grow Settings > Appearance > Grow Widget Appearance to be sure Grow is displaying the options that you prefer.

Let us know if you’re still having trouble, and have a great day!

    Hi @reggiodigital,

I’m sorry for the delay, and thanks for bringing this up! This should actually be resolved in the current version 1.5.0. However, if you’re still experiencing the issue, please let us know so we can take another look.

Thanks, and have a great day!

    Hi @peejeej,

So sorry for the delay delay in responding, and I’m happy to see that you found the culprit!

You’re right, caching the Rest API has proven to be an issue in the past, so I’m glad you found and resolved this.

Let us know if you run into any other issues, and have a great day!

    Hi @cousett,

Thanks for reaching out! We’ve seen a few others report this, and while it looks like the issue stems from Elementor’s side, we’re both working on a resolution for the issue that prevents a user from properly accessing the Elementor editor while Grow for WP is active.

In the meantime, you should be able to work around this by manually adding your Grow script to your site, and then you can disable the Grow for WP plugin. That should keep Grow up and running, while bypassing the current conflict.

Let us know if this doesn’t work for you, and we can take another look.

    Hi @candyg333,

No problem, and you’re welcome to start a new topic too!

You should find the link to download your subscriber list under Subscribe Settings > Export Subscribers when logged in to your Grow Publisher Portal as mentioned in this help article.

We tend to lean in to the Grow puns as well, so welcome to the club! You’re right, Grow will be continuing to update as we get more data and add or refine new features.

    Hi @shaneblay,

Thanks for reaching out! You’re right, the latest update that we made to Create to have the?Review Pop-Up?always enabled is due to an industry-wide shift against the ability to leave one-click, “anonymous” ratings that may not always be an accurate representation and that search engines like Google may issue a correction against in the near future. (Which is why other popular recipe card plugins have also made similar updates recently as well!)

We want to make sure that we’re protecting Create users in the face of any changes or corrections that Google may make, so our updates requiring an associated review at all star-levels will effectively help do that.

There isn’t a way to disable the just the?Review Pop-Up?banner without completely disabling reviews entirely, so we recommend continuing to run that feature so that you’re able to gather genuine and helpful recipe reviews that Google will count as legitimate and rich results worthy.

We are looking at making further updates with regards to how leaving reviews/ratings works, but this would be in upcoming versions of Create, and we don’t yet have a timeline on when that’ll be.

    Hi @sandimaciver,

Thanks for reaching out, and I’m sorry to hear that you were having issues! I just double checked the post that you linked, and I’m no longer seeing the Grow script, or any subscribe forms/elements.

It looks like what you were seeing has cleared up by now, but if you still notice anything coming from Grow without the plugin or script running, please feel free to send over another link, and a screenshot too. We’ll be happy to take another look.

    Hey @paulgiorkas32,

I apologize for that! Here’s the link to show the changelog.txt for 1.2.0.

    Hi @theguitarlesson,

Thanks for reaching out about this! While we don’t have any current plans to expand on the list of supported recipe card plugins, if we look at this in the future, we’ll be looking at any common plugins that aren’t already included.

Thanks again, and have a great day!

    Hi @wrightj2,

Thanks for reaching out! I see what you mean, and we’ll get the Developers page updated to make that more visible. For now, you can view the changelog here: https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/browser/grow-for-wp/trunk/changelog.txt.

I hope that helps, and have a great day!

    Hi @sean-h,

Congratulations! I wish we had an exciting prize for you, but instead I can just answer your questions.

You’re right on both points actually. If you’re already running Grow through your Mediavine ad script, or by manually installing the Grow script, using this plugin isn’t necessary.

However, the Grow for WordPress plugin will allow you take advantage of Category Targeting if you’re looking to be more specific in what Subscribe forms are shown based on the categories of your posts.

Currently, Category Targeting, and simplifying the installation process are the main benefits of using the new plugin, but we have plans for additional features in the future. You can always keep an eye out for new blog posts, to see what may be coming.

Thanks for being the first to reach out, and let us know if you have any other questions!

    Hi @jakours2,

Thanks for reaching out about this! Our engineers do have a fix slotted for a future release, but we don’t yet have a timeline for when that will be.

For now, you should be able to safely ignore the message, since it’s just a notice coming from WordPress, and shouldn’t be causing any issues on the site.

If you are experiencing any issues other than the deprecation notice, please feel free to write in to [email protected] with any additional details, and we’ll be happy to take another look!
