Hey @comparehive,
Thanks so much for getting back to me and thanks for providing those screenshots — they were super helpful!
It looks like the blog pages you’re referring to are archive/category pages. By default, we don’t place share buttons on these types of pages as readers typically wouldn’t interact with them the same way like they would a typical blog post or page.
It’s something we may consider adding in in the future but as of right now that’s intentional.
Hey @comparehive!
Just to be clear, it sounds like the social sharing buttons are showing up on some pages and not others? Without seeing the page it’s not appearing on, it can be hard to say what might be happening here — just out of curiosity are you using any sort of pagebuilder like Divi or Elementor?

In reply to: [Create by Mediavine] Button Action Defaults not updating in contentHey @lifebykathleen,
Thanks so much for reaching out and so sorry for the delay here! This behavior is something we also noticed occurring on our end and have a fix ready for in our 1.10.0 release.
I don’t yet have an ETA on that release but keep an eye out for it as it should fix that behavior. ??
Have a great day!

In reply to: [Create by Mediavine] Recipes list page not in postsHey @gatiandras,
Thanks for reaching out! So if I’m understanding things correctly it sounds like you want a recipe index type page that ONLY links to the recipe and not inside any blog posts? If so, something like that isn’t currently possible with Create. If you can create a separate post/page then you can embed the card in that post/page using Gutenberg blocks or the shortcode for that particular card.
Hey @richards1052,
Thanks so much for reaching out! Since you’re a pro user, we’ve already got a thread open with our support email for you and we’ll go ahead and keep the conversation going there!
Hey @fredroo,
We currently are compatible with WP 6.0 but PHP 8.0+ hasn’t been fully evaluated. It’s currently something we’re working towards and should have up-to-date in a future release.

In reply to: [Create by Mediavine] What happens if I delete the pluginHey @tsat01,
Thanks so much for reaching out! So if you delete the plugin after creating some cards, the data for those cards would remain in your site’s database just in case you decided you wanted to use the plugin again.

Thanks so much for reaching out and so sorry to hear you’re having issues! If at all possible could send over a URL of a post where you’re having these issues? Additionally, feel free to email into [email protected] with a couple of examples and we’ll be more than happy to assist you there as well.

In reply to: [Create by Mediavine] unable to register plugin after site repairHey @gnugeek,
Thanks so much for reaching out! There could be a couple reasons why you might be unable to re-register Create. If at all possible, could you reach out to our support at [email protected] and we’ll be more than happy to troubleshoot with you there?
Hey @danbooth,
Thanks so much for reaching out and sorry for the delay! Share counts are pulled via the page URL directly from the social networks themselves so you ideally should see the same share counts regardless of what version you’re running. ??
Hey @snoot,
Thanks so much for reaching out! Just for clarification, are you a Grow Social user and referring to the plugin being unable to find one of the files it uses?
If so, would you be able to send over a URL to your site and we can take a peek to see what might be going on there?
Hey Kailee,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m actually unable to replicate the issue described on our internal testing site, or on other sites running Create.
Is there anyway you could write a quick message to the email [email protected] on this issue and send over a few example links where you’re experiencing the issue? Our Support team would love to troubleshoot further.
Let us know how that sounds!

In reply to: [Create by Mediavine] Multilingual Blog – Which Plugin?Hey @aatmaberlin,
For translations, we provide a .pot file inside of the languages directory of the plugin. This source file allows users to provide their own translations.
If you would like to provide your own translations, that’s where you can use something like Poedit. Open our .pot file (/wp-content/plugins/mediavine-create/language/mediavine-create.pot) and you’ll be able to write your own translations, export them as .po/.mo files, and upload to your server in the /wp-content/languages/plugins folder.
After that is done you will need to change your WordPress language over into the language your translating your site into. For example if I was translating a site to German, I would then need log into my WordPress Admin and go to Settings -> General -> and then change “Site Language” to German. Once done you should then hopefully see the translations in Create.
Hope that helps!

In reply to: [Hubbub Lite - Fast, Reliable Social Sharing Buttons] Critical ErrorHey @lynmc1,
That’s definitely pretty peculiar as you should have the option as well in the free version of the plugin.
I took another look on my side of things and it appears that the refresh shares option isn’t available in the latest 1.20.0 release of the plugin when it should be so I went ahead and reached out to our plugin developers to let them know about this potential bug.
That being the case, would you be able to try rolling back the plugin to the previous version (1.19.2)? You should then see the options there to refresh the shares once done and we can see if that does the trick.
Alternatively, if you’d like, we’d be more than happy to assist with this if you want to shoot us an email at [email protected]. Just mention we were working together on the support forums here and we’ll be happy to continue the conversation there!
