I haven’t really gone through with trying any of them. The most common answer I come across has been basically “It isn’t supported yet, but here’s some really long complicated way that may or may not work”, and those versions scare me and are usually beyond my comfort level of screwing around under the hood.

I’m wondering if there is a simple, 90%+ chance of working properly, tested way to import from Blogger to my hosted WordPress.

That seems to be broken. Anything new?

This seems to be a long-running problem, and searching for a solution is confusing and frustrating.

Megahurt.net isn’t a wordpress site at all, it was built by someone using php, etc. I’d like to simplify, which is why I think a switch to wordpress might be cool

Seems a bit more involved that what I have in mind. I came across this site (https://www.bellvanceart.com) which is pretty cool, but still a bit more involved.

I basically want what my current site has:
A large main header image (a random, rotating image would be nice)
Simple, large image with description and “BUY NOW” capability.

I’m actually thinking that it could be just about the same as what I have going on gethurt.com, but I would like the header image to be a good bit taller. If that’s possible. Hmmmmm.

That one made my posts go all crazy… they were dropped way low on the page and a totally new, horizontal Amazon ad was across my page.

That did it… sort of. Now there is a line above “Home”, all of the other sections don’t have that.
