Just in case it is relevant:. One of the previous active plug-ins was WPML. But even without any other plug-ins and with standard theme the overview page does not appear: instead the blog posts appear whe I try to open https://website.tld/download/…

Strange is, when I enter https://website.tld/download/14862/ directly, at least the download appears.

Please help to display the overview page. ??

We are evaluation of your plugin and nearly all pre-sales-questions have been sorted out.

FYI: I use the Standard-Theme “TwentySixteen” and no other Plug-Ins are activated. WP 4.4.2–de_DE is installed. I resetted Permalinks a few times.

When I call the URL website.tld/download (standard) the blog posts appear. URL still tells “website.tld/download” and when I try switching to i.e. page 2, I get the error message “Download existiert nicht.”

When will the general download overview work again?

Because the plug-in is looking really promising, but it is not usable right now…

Plugin still throws the warnigs, a show stopper for every user, taking care of errors produced by “non-userfriendly” plugins, like i.e. WPDM-PRO, not to go into details again.

I really wonder why your answer differs so much from your fellow named Shahriar, stating in PRO-forum that an updated version will be available during 8th of january. (tomorrow)

@andrew Of course, I totally understand. But sadly this is the only way to get attention from Plugin Author. I am astound, as a paying user, that I get faster response here, than in pro-forum.

Even if Plugin Author is unable, maybe Shaon can somehow answer the numerous pro-forum threads waiting for an answer to when the pro-version will be working again.

agree. i have to admit two things:

1) statements of OP are 100% correct, I had completly the same feeling

2) I had to laugh that 10 days after my post, the next horrific description of this plugin details appears and plugin author shows same behaviour.

ps: I really had to laugh, when reading “The plugin uses tables for styling… tables… really!?!” in 2016, this is truly amazing!

No it is not an good idea to solve the problem like this. Because this solution means, you would always have to manually do the above changes again, after each and every update. And this is really error prone.

According to an older WPML support answer here I really wonder about quality of WPDM, not to mention my thougths about your support abilities for this Download Management System.

Your answer would mean, that I would have to manually check each and every time an update arrives for changes. And if so, manually change text. Every time. Again and again! Isnt that a little error-prone?

Asking the WPML support staff the same simple question, I get a much better advice than yours, which works like a charm and enables me to keep updating without checking for changes all the time.

I want to use Password in english version and Passwort in german version of my website, which runs with WPML.

Since WPDM v4 should work fine with WPML according to Shaon, what do I need to to?

I deactivated all other plugins and indeed an old plugin, which was not needed anymore, manipulated EM in some way or another.

after adding the code from danbrellis, I do not get any category image shown and don’t know why… ??

I added danbrellis code to my functions.php.

In my template I added:

In my functions.php I added the code-line:
add_image_size('categoryname_thumb',240,240);

I uploaded a new image and it just does not show. I also checked if my new image-size (categoryname_thumb,240,240) is created, which also does not happen.

Is there anything in functions.php that I might have done wrong?

It would be wonderful if I made a dumb mistake and someone could tell me where and whats wrong… ??
