We were also using style 3 to display a minimalist list of our past events & it’s really changed with the update = no longer minimalist.

I’ve tried adding the shortcode attributes thumb="false" & excerpt="false" but they’re still displaying. I know I can hide everything using css, but when making such major changes to visible parts of peoples’ websites it might have made more sense to create new styles 4-6 rather than grossly modifying the existing ones.

It wasn’t either of those things. I had to add more specificity to my custom css for my menu – adding .et-db #page-container #et-boc header.et-l--header before everything – in case this is helpful for anyone else.

It’s unclear to me why this was only an issue on my Events pages but it’s working now so all good!

This is actually affecting my site – causing pages to not load.

1) Activate USP and Modern Events Calendar

2) Navigate to M.E.Calendar > Settings > Booking /wp-admin/admin.php?page=MEC-settings&tab=MEC-booking

3) Open the browser developer console

4) Click on Payment Gateways https://ibb.co/Ms2PXfQ – the content doesn’t appear on the screen to the right & the error appears in the console (you sometimes have to click more than once)

False alarm! The scss IS compiling to css. It was a caching issue.

The plugin is far too opinionated & now requires far too much work to integrate with our websites/themes.

In case anyone else experiences this issue – I was able to fix it by turning off Lazy Load > Media Types > iframe
