@oluisrael thanks, but I have it at 30 minutes right now which twice the default setting. I could increase it, but I highly doubt a customer intending to place an order is going to let items sit in their cart for more than 30 minutes. I actually spoke to the customer where this happened most recently, and they told me they just added 1 item to the cart and checked out without any issues. But ACL reported an abandoned cart 1 minute before the order was placed. And I’ve seen that exact pattern in other instances–the timestamp on the abandoned cart is 1-2 minutes before the order gets placed. I thought the customer might be having some issues, like getting blocked by reCaptcha at checkout, but it sounds like they may not be having issues at all, just ACL for some reason is thinking there’s an abandoned cart. Any thoughts as to why this might be happening?

@doublezed2 thanks, I’m a developer and you’re right, it could be the cloudflare configuration. I’m experimenting with it now on my dev site but I don’t trust it at all now to not block customers. And it definitely slows page load down.

I was actually hoping you could suggest alternatives. I have Woo’s rate limiting feature activated. For now I’ve reinstituted reCaptcha, but I’d really rather not use reCaptcha on checkout. What are the currently recommended best practices for protecting Woo Checkout? If you use Geo-blocking and only allow U.S. and Canadian IP addresses to access the site, do you think that plus rate-limiting would be sufficient to reduce the risk sufficiently? What other strategies are available?

Not sure I follow you on your advice to “mark completed orders/carts as recovered in the Abandoned Orders section.” I’m looking at that tab right now and not seeing any way to do this. There’s a dropdown menu at the top with several options to “delete” abandoned carts listed there but don’t see any option to mark completed orders/carts as recovered. I checked the “Settings” tab and don’t see it there either. Am I looking in the wrong place? Or is this feature not available in the “Lite” version of the plugin?

Quick update: I just checked in on my MC4WP > E-Commerce settings and notice that instead of telling me that the product sync is “all set!” it seems to be telling me there are a few unsynced orders and I should sync them. Why isn’t this happening automatically?

Sounds like API is the way to go here. The purpose of all this is to let folks easily look up who their elected representatives are by punching in their address. I bet if I dig around I can find something that can do this and uses an API integration.

Thanks for chiming in. It sure seems like this issue of trying to resize and iframe dynamically based on content has vexxed developers for many years. None of the “solutions” I found actually worked.

I double-checked and the link to the script in the child page loaded inside the iframe is present and the correct link. No idea why the browser console is reporting “The iframe (myIframe) has not responded within 5 seconds. Check @iframe-resizer/child package has been loaded in the iframe.”

What exactly is the “PTK Pattern Store” and why is Woo scheduling this action daily? What is it trying to fetch?

I’m seeing this in my log too after updating Woo to the latest version this morning. I don’t use LiteSpeed Cache. This is looking like a Woo issue, no? Let’s find a solution. I’ll follow your advice above and start a new thread.

Grappling with a new similar issue right now. Variable products seem to all be showing as “out of stock” in the XML feed even if some variations are in stock. Is one of my rules doing that or is something else going on here?
