I just tried clearing my cache, doesn’t solve the problem. Also, even on the typography preview screen in Appearance, the font shows up as a serif font currently (though it didn’t when I first set it to Open Sans). Two changes I made in that time was changing my theme, and editing the CSS for some selectors (though I still chose Open Sans there).
Viewing my site through Firebug’s ‘inspect element’ ability, it does say that ‘Open Sans’ is the font for the p element.
Hi maryanne, thanks for responding. ??
I am not currently using Shareaholic anymore, as the new theme that I am using displays related content. However if I do use it again, I will get back to you with the information.

In reply to: Plugin to display 'related content' for each postNever mind, by happy coincidence my new theme displays related content ??
Expanded my exclusions to
kiwifoodie.co.nz/archive/*
kiwifoodie.co.nz/?tag=*
kiwifoodie.co.nz/sample-page/
kiwifoodie.co.nz/tag/*And still doesn’t work
I have been trying to see if the portfolio-slideshow/inc/shortcode.php file contains any bugs that might cause this, but haven’t come up with anything. Might I be looking in the wrong place?
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I have just tried that and it still does not fix the problem.

In reply to: "/*" characters in post preview on main pageI think the problem lies in the Portfolio Slideshow plugin, as when I try shortcodes for some other plugins (like Universal Star Rating), the post preview is fine.
There are a lot of files in the Portfolio Slideshow plugin editor though, and I am not good enough with php to discern which one would be causing the problem.
Anyone?

In reply to: "/*" characters in post preview on main pageSo I would be looking for a php comment outside a php block, in my theme? But if it were a problem in the theme, why does it not show up if I don’t use a shortcode at the start?

In reply to: "/*" characters in post preview on main pagestacy: I am using [portfolio_slideshow] currently. Some other shortcodes also cause this problem but some don’t.

In reply to: "/*" characters in post preview on main pageI had used plaintext for most of my posts to temporarily resolve the issue, but for the ‘Butlers Chocolate Cafe’ post I have put the shortcode back at the top of the post so that you can see what I mean.
Thanks.
