In version 4.0.10, the issue is back. In IE 8, any pictures in landscape mode are stretched (currently displaying at 640×562). Yet, when I switch on “compatability mode” the images are displayed correctly (640×480).

Is there a change from 4.0.4 to 4.0.10 that caused this error to come back?

Anyone know of a photo Gallery that can have uploads directly from Android phone?

Is anyone working on a gallery plugin that works from Android mobile?

The Android WordPress app is nice, but it simply uploads an image as a post. This is nice, but it isn’t quite the same. I’d like to simply have a gallery named “Photos on the Go” and upload photos … on the go, if you will.

Just a simple gallery of pictures taken and uploaded from my Android phone.

Thoughts?

OK. I can log in and log out from different computers, but my personal computer at home still has the same error.

It must be something on that partciular PC.

What do you think? What could cause that?

Ah, here’s something new…

Trying it under FireFox (I had used Chrome and IE) I get a slightly different error.

It says “You don’t have Permission” and then it cuts off.

Is it just a simple CHMOD thing? Should everything be 644 or 755?

have tried de-activating all plugins, both through dashboard and the FTP trick. switched to default theme and have deleted the themes that I had been using previously.

I’m not uploading fresh files from a fresh download, but so far still a no go. Still get the exact same error.

I have cleared all the cache, tried two different browsers, and even did a full computer reset.

Any other thoughts?

Ok, it worked great.

I had skipped it (and another similar) since I thought my server/host was still using PHP4. I found how to switch over to PHP5, which has made all the difference.

I’m using Viper’s now, and I like it.

Figured it out.

It wasn’t the code, it was the permissions. Somehow I had chmoded the whole folder to 775, instead of just 755. I swapped it back to 755, and it worked like a charm.

Go figure.

slight update:

It saved my layout/template that I had created. I went through options and selected my custom layout, and it looks just like it did.

But all the posts are still gone.

Any way to recover those old posts?
