installer.php does not connect

Hi
Up to now i never had problems with duplicator.
But today i installed mamp for mac version 3.2.1.
I tried to install a site just as i always did.
But when i click on installer.php the wheel keeps on circling and the dialogue never shows up.
In my mamp-settings i have php standard 5.5.23.
Is this causing the problem?
