the way I did it was:
– download and activate the WP Plugin “Scripts n Styles”
– under Tools in the WP admin section you find the link to the settings page of the plugin
– enter the code under “Blog Wide JavaScript” and “Scripts (for the head element)” or “Scripts (end of the body tag)” [please find out what works better for you]
That’s all.
I am not using the plugin anymore. I opted again for BJ Lazy Load. It gives you these options out of the box and works also fine when you take a little time to adjust the edgeY value and the other settings. You can even deactivate it for single posts or pages in the WP editor.

Thanks for your reply. At the moment I have solved the problem with WP Photon, that takes all pictures that I exclude from the CDN.
Generally I am still very interested to split the uploaded pictures on the CDN. I am using maxcdn with five custom domains. Unfortunately all pictures are served from cdn5… There is no option to change that. I would like to use the other custom domains too to enable parallelized downloads. Unfortunately nobody, maxcdn support included, knows a solution for the problem.

“A waste of time” is very much to the point. That’s exactly what the plugin files cause for the visitors of a website. But it’s your decision, if you don’t care about these things, we simply have to accept that. However, thank you once again for your for work.

Thanks for your fast reply. If it loads with an iframe, it’s just like the youtube videos, it’s external. However, I send you the link with a test on the GTmetrix site where you can see the problems with the .js and the image dimensions. Unlike the youtube videos the files of the player load from the local server or the cdn. Maybe there is a chance for improvement:

However, many thanks for your work. I like the simplicity of the design and the clean functionality very much. I have found no other plugin that is able to simply display a local pgn file in a wordpress post.

The plugin Scripts n Styles did the job perfectly. The plugin works for me much better than BJ Lazy Load. With the additional load before entering viewport feature it’s almost perfect for my requirements. Thanks!

To list the home page on the widget would be the target solution. The info about the visitors I get from the stats in the cpanel. But once again, I really don’t want to waste your time. It’s not essential, I am already very satisfied with the plugin.

I have spent some time to further investigate and it seems to be difficult, since the front page has no special post ID, if you choose to display the most recent posts on it. I would be very grateful if you have a workaround, but just forget about it, if it’s too time-consuming for you.

Activating the HTML Markup settings has solved the ‘problem’.

thanks for the fast reply. There is another issue with Jetpack Tiled Galleries. They were broken after uploading to Cloudinary. After migrating the included pictures back to the WP media library, everything is fine again.
