In reply to: Home page randomly redirects to another pageBut now my homepage (which was previously my latest posts) is forwarding to this new subscribe page instead of showing my posts.
@hoiszelam If you go to your new “Register Page” while you’re still logged in, you will be redirected to the home page by default. Log out first before viewing the register page.
As to why your new home page suddenly because the new subscribe page, I only know that BuddyPress did not cause that. BuddyPress support is provided at https://buddypress.org/support/ Log in using your WP username and password.

In reply to: Problem with Buddypress Members Avatar Map@dyablito Do deactivate the plugin. The developers have not updated that plugin in 4 years (only compatible with BP 1.3). The plugin authors or someone else needs to rewrite that plugin from scratch to be compatible with BP 2.4 if they have time or the inclination to do so.
Will continue discussion there then.
@mamaslt looks like a conflicting CSS issue with your theme. Please post at https://buddypress.org/support with site url so someone can assist you.

In reply to: User based profile fields in KLEO wordpress theme (buddypress)@cad-sidd Yes for 1) & 2). But you’d need to set up the roles first.
Read:
https://bpdevel.wordpress.com/2014/12/08/member-type-api/ which provides links to BP Codex Article https://codex.buddypress.org/developer/member-types/ as well as new feature for profile fields based on role at https://buddypress.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/5192Kleo is a premium theme which we don’t access to, so the best place to ask would be at the theme author’s forums. Unless they’ve changed the BP Templates drastically, the guides I posted above should work.
If you have any issues with the implementation of the member roles and profile fields, please post at the BuddyPress support forums https://buddypress.org/support

In reply to: [BuddyPress] BuddyPress is great plugin, but will not work when installed@enahs007 Just installed and activated https://www.ads-software.com/themes/green-garden/ … BuddyPress pages are showing up. Perhaps you need to reinstall the theme just in case you’re missing some files.

In reply to: Unable to deactivate Buddy Press@talkingsoles I can see by source code that BuddyPress is still activated in your site. If you still cannot deactivate BuddyPress via the admin Plugins > Plugins Installed screen, you can delete the /buddypress folder from wp-content/plugins/ via FTP/SSH.

In reply to: Plugin: Buddypress NOT WORKING@wired68 I see now where your problem is. BuddyPress requires “pretty permalinks” and not those almost pretty permalinks where you add index.php after your domain name.
There are tutorials on how to reconfigure your IIS settings to generate the permalinks, but as Otto mentioned here -> https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/permalinks-not-working-with-godaddywindows?replies=10#post-5908326 try to change to a Linux hosting in GoDaddy.

In reply to: Plugin: Buddypress NOT WORKING@wired68 after activating BuddyPress, you need to configure the settings.
If BP is installed in a single WP installation – https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/configure-components/
If BP is activated networkwide (multisite) –

In reply to: One subsite theme not compatible with Buddypress. Should use?@lehn6 it’s better to post at the BuddyPress.org forums https://buddypress.org/support/ since there are experienced BP users visiting there who might have the same set up like yours ?? Please do add information re your site when you post there https://buddypress.org/support/topic/when-asking-for-support-2/

In reply to: Activating multisite with BBpress-Buddypress installed.@januarionclx Per the prosite plugin’s promo page, it states that it has BuddyPress integration. The best place to ask this question is at the premium plugin’s support forums.
