Hi,
Thank you so much for your immediate reply!
I never said that the pre-sales support was bad. They helped me find the right solution to what I was looking for. So, on the contrary, pre-sales chat are absolutely amazing.All I am saying is that if you court your prospect customers, and provide them with a nice and working chat system that helps them find the things they need, you should also consider providing a similar fast-working solution for the customers who have already made a purchase. Also, I find it hard to understand why if I have already told pre-sales about a problem, they can’t refer it to the correct department. Yes, I have made a mistake contacting them, but it was not a willing mistake, these things happen.
This is the only frustration I have with support. That they are not communicating efficiently between them. As far as technical issues go, the ticketing system works, and I have always received sollutions to my issues, but anyone would agree that the faster solution is better (chat system vs ticketing).
Thank you for you apology, and professional attitude, I will gladly edit my previous review in due time. I know that again I will receive support with the current issue I have.
Thank you!
M.Z.“If you see a code instead of the advert you either don’t have W3 Total Cache installed or you didn’t set it up correctly.”
I do have the plugin installed. It is funny how the author will put the blame on webmasters instead of look for the problem within the latest update. I wonder what Arnan de Gans means when he says W3 Total Cache has not been set up correctly, when it has worked fine alongside Adrotate up until now having the same setting all along.
q292u, Thanks for the link to the previous version. If the above does not work, we could at least go back to the way things were.
Alright people, I went ahead and visited the other forum for this plugin as the author has pointed out that he does not visit here often, and as a respond to the same question here, he wrote this: (I’m copy -pasting it)
“That’s to do with the AdRotate caching setting.
If you don’t have W3 Total Cache installed, disable caching support in AdRotate Settings.
If you do have that plugin, clear the cache.Also make sure there is no warning about W3TC_DYNAMIC_SECURITY in AdRotate settings > Misc. If there is, follow the instruction there.”
I will try to see if it works, good luck!
Me too, but the plugin developer has said that he does not visit here often. I tried deactivating and reactivating the ads, but that did nothing. Also, there is another topic like this one, and it has been marked as resolved, although no solution has been offered.
Was this resolved with you guys? The topic has been marked as resolved, but my issue still stands…
I am having the exact same issue myself and the code that is being render is echo adrotate_ad(4, true, 0, 0); or like this echo adrotate_ad(12, true, 0, 0); echo adrotate_ad(7, true, 0, 0);
The plugin is not working for me either. It throws the same error. I’m glad that mmsoder meanwile figured out the problem, but it would be nice if he/she could also share how.
