Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: 3 questions: menu, table, line breaksI found css/WordPress too difficult and don’t really have the time right now to learn. My client needs the website up (actually the 25th), but now another week. I needed to get graphics as menus, music to play when a graphic is clicked and the columns to work correctly. I went to another hosting co, but not sure that will be any easier – checking it out now. It would be easier if there was a step-by-step for these individual items.

In reply to: 3 questions: menu, table, line breaksOK, I have the line but the second column is still showing up under the first column. It hasn’t moved to the second column. I didn’t do each testimonial separately because they don’t line up evenly (testimonial on one side may be longer or shorter than the other side). What do I have to do next to get it into two columns? I check both Firefox and IE and it looks the same on both.
The website is everythingaudio.biz.

In reply to: 3 questions: menu, table, line breaksThank you.
Where should I put the CSS code?
#bigcontainer {
width:600px;
margin: 10px;
}
.smallcontainer {
width: 300px;
padding: 10px;
}
In the stylesheet? Where in the stylesheet?
Also, will this give me a line between the two columns?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: 3 questions: menu, table, line breaksIt’s actually a website, not a blog.

In reply to: Underlining text that is not a linkThanks for that. I went back and looked and I need red text and white underline. Do you have assistance for that?
Sorry for the misunderstanding.

In reply to: Background color in Twenty TenI changed the color to #000000 in background but it left the webpage white and changed behind the webpage (on the sides) black. I saw a place where you can add a background image, but don’t have a black image and I’m not sure if I should go that way.
I tried going into the stylesheet and changing the background-color to #000000, but that didn’t work. Do I need to change that somewhere else? Why didn’t the background color change when I went into the background section? This is really frustrating.

In reply to: Using graphics for menu itemsI haven’t really decided on a theme yet. It may be twenty-ten.
The graphics would be menu items and be static.
