Running version 2.1.4 and having the same issue.
As Nicky_corri, I get no error code, just the same message Unable to load lists from MailChimp: () . Please check your Settings settings.

I have same issue.
Any news on an update??

Well this was actually my initially thought to do but when I do that I get following error (which is displayed at the top of the admin page, but still makes it possible for me to use the system):

Very nice guide Paultgoodchild, and even though it specifies that the guide is for floating only, it can easily be converted to the normal view as well.

That totally fine, I’ll play a bit around with it but for now I’ve just used a simple php “hack” and use a substr function and append a [read more] tag at the end.

It is not as elegant as the post excerpt function but it works better than just displaying everything and ruin the design.

Well it works but unfortunately in the same way as before; everything in the excerpt area is getting displayed.

I got it to work now, but as you said, only on my posts excerpt and not on my pages. I probably have to dig into the code and try to make some sort of hack to get it to work on my pages excerpt as well.

thank you for your link. I’ve tried to follow it and inserted the function in my functions.php file but I get the same result, that is the whole excerpt is displayed.

I do get a […] in the end but still in the end of the entire excerpt and with no link to it.

It’s like my excerpt functionality get’s overwrite or just don’t apply to my theme.

Do you have any other advices?

I’ve just search the net and the wordpress site for what seems in ages to find a solution and then it was so simple and straightforward.

Hmm, it does make sense thats the problem – you do not happen to know how the code should be for tags instead of categories?

Otherwise I suppose I can make it work with the categories instead of tags.

You might be right but I guess I’m confusing myself a bit. I’m not sure how to distinct the different subpages and query specific blog posts.

My suggestion to separate the blog posts would be to use tags. So that for the subpage child01 the correct related blog post would be assigned to tag child01.

And thats all fine, i have three child pages each with corresponding Blog posts connected to them but how on earth do I “copy” the content from a blog with a tag that matches a pages’ slugname or URL name?
