I think there is a misunderstanding. All plugins on www.ads-software.com repository are free. We do not have to tag it separately as free. Nowhere on our www.ads-software.com page the ‘free’ word appears as promotional pitch. Although, Premium features are clearly marked wherever applicable to help you in decision making.

Many plugins do offer upgrade to Premium version with extra features and that’s how we support development of the free version. WordPress repository is kind enough to allow promotion of Premium upgrades inside the hosted plugins which is essential for sustenance of some plugin teams.

RegistrationMagic free version is one of the most feature rich and powerful in its category. I can understand the free version may not offer you the exact feature you were looking, but it is difficult to make everyone happy. We have, in the past, moved features from paid to free version based on user feedback.

Also for Premium version the price is not recurring. It will not setup a recurring subscription on your card. After purchasing you can keep using it as long as you like.

Please understand that RegistrationMagic is in active development – both the Free and the Premium version will keep seeing new features and improvements. Two major releases are in testing which will make workflow many times easier. And we have more plans for its future.

There are so many plugins in WordPress repository that we are sure you will find the one with feature you are looking for without paying – That is the choice you have. But to call someone as ‘soulless robbers’ because they do not fulfill your requirement seems very unfair and overly harsh.

Yes, you can disable bookings from the admin side. Just go to the Event Settings page of any event and you’ll find an option there named “Enable Bookings“. Uncheck this option checkbox and bookings will be disabled for that event.

You can show an event’s attendees on the event page using the Attendees List extension of EventPrime.

The extension also gives you the option to show attendees in a widget.

There is currently no option of showing attendee names on the calendar or list/card display though.

We have fixed this in the latest version 1.6.8. The uppercase attribute is now removed from the shortcodes.

This option is now added with the new version 1.6.8. Filter your Events by Event Sites using the ‘sites‘ shortcode attribute.

For example, if you want to display Events for only Event Sites with IDs of 1 & 2, your shortcode will look like this…

Adding Attendee names with Bookings is no longer mandatory in the latest version 1.6.8. Please update to the new version.

There is now a new setting in Event Settings named ‘Enable Attendee Names‘. You can disable this setting and the Attendee Name boxes will not show on the Bookings page.

There is no option right now to hide seating type on the Event Sites directory page. We have noted your requirement and will add this option in the near future.

For now, what you can do is hide seating type by using the Custom CSS setting from the Global Settings. Add the following code in the Custom CSS box and save:

.emagic div.kf-venue-seating-capacity { display: none; }

This will hide the seating type section from the Event Sites directory.

If the filters are disabled, view selection is disabled as well. You can, however, set the view from the [em_events] shortcode. Also, if your changes for view from Global Settings are not visible on frontend, it is possible that a view is already set from the shortcode. If no view option is provided with the shortcode, the view set from the Global Settings will display.

Regarding the bookings issue, if everything is fine with the dates, could you check and let me know if your event is active and not unpublished or draft. It should be active for bookings to work.
