In reply to: [Storefront] How to remove featured image linkHi James, would I need to copy all of that code to prevent the link? Also, which file should it be placed in? Many thanks.

In reply to: Problem when using conditional tag 'is_front_page' and a tagHi Adrian,
Thanks for taking a look at this. I’ve tried the code but still getting an error. This time it reads;
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ”> ‘ (T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING), expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in….Not sure where I picked up the ‘data-setup’. To be honest, I don’t even know what it does!

In reply to: [Storefront] Unable to add content to homepageHi James, I checked the theme version and there was an update. Everything seems to be working fine with the update. Sorry to waste your time with this!
Just one small query – I want to change the default headings (recent products, featured products) but I can’t find the file I need to edit. Any idea where it is?
Thanks

In reply to: [Storefront] Unable to add content to homepageI’ve found the problem; the Homepage Control plugin is preventing anything being added on that page. I tested it with a couple of other themes and it seems to be okay so it looks like a conflict with the Storefront theme?
The plugin isn’t that essential but I can’t find the code I need to change to edit/delete the components manually i.e featured products, recent, categories etc.. Any ideas where I need to look?
I’d also like the text that I enter to appear after these components – at the moment it appears before. Not sure if this is a Storefront issue but any suggestions would be most appreciated.
Many thanks

In reply to: [Storefront] Problem with search box in Internet ExplorerIt’s fine on the demo site. For some reason it’s only a problem on my site.
It’s version 10 of Internet Explorer.
Thanks

In reply to: [Storefront] Problem with search box in Internet ExplorerHere you go James – https://imagestock.asia/wp-content/uploads/search.JPG
The smaller box is obscuring the main search box so you can’t actually see what you’re typing.
Cheers

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Extracting metadata to new postThanks, David. I was originally looking at the Stocky theme and I think it has many good aspects. I just found it a bit limiting because of Easy Digital Downloads not having the functionality I needed. I’m making good progress building something around Woocommerce. IT would be good to chat to someone else in a similar situation. My email is metice(at)gmail.com. Thanks for your kind help ??

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Extracting metadata to new postHi David, that sounds like a good idea for a plugin as you could easily populate the fields in the download post. I think it would be especially useful for photographers.
I’ve actually been testing the Woocommerce plugin because I was finding Easy Digital Downloads too restrictive. Whilst I like its lean approach it just doesn’t have the functionality that I require. The inability to set multiple price variables is very frustrating for an ecommerce package. Also, the csv importers are quite basic in comparison to those that work with Woocommerce.
I’m still testing and haven’t made any final decisions but at this stage I’m leaning towards Woo. Having said that, I’d be quite happy to be a sounding board if you’re proceeding with your plugin.
