In reply to: Expert help needed please: Very strange line of codeHi Wypogi
Securi is listing the site as all clean except:
WordPress internal path: /home/XXXXXXXXXXXXX/public_html/SITE-URL/wp-content/themes/THEME-NAME/header.php
6Scan was taking oto long but initial results were all fine.
I’m going to disable plugi-ns one by one to see if it is a rogue plug-in which I will name and shame if it is.

In reply to: Expert help needed please: Very strange line of codeHi Andrew
As Doubleclick is an advertising platform and I don’t have ads on the blog – do I take it that you know this is a hack – as my question is about the nature of this line of code.
Thanks

In reply to: How do I avoid getting hacked? (Third time has happened)All – update:
I read the above links and also found a thread (one of many) describing how you should add code to the various .htaccess files. Did this and corrupted the theme.
As I also did when I installed a few extra security plugins so had to re-upload the blog again.
So I disabled them and just added the WP Firewall.
This afternoon I received a series of emails – over ten – each pinging as I sustained a new hacking attempt from a US based IP address (which doesn’t really mean anything – Amazonaws).
So this seems for today to have save the blog – how long more I don’t know.

Thanks for the input – I have restored the whole blog and is back up again. Just need to do a little housework.
I’m opening an new thread on why I get hacked so often (this is 3+ time) and what to do to stop it.

In reply to: Parse Error (Expert advice please)Hi adpawl
Thanks for this.
I have followed these instructions – removing and re-uploading both directories and also removing and re-uploading the single files from a downloaded latest version of 3.2.2 and I still have the same problem.
Do you have any other advice please?
Thanks
