In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Showcase – No Add To CartIf you look in the site via FTP you will see a folder that is left over from the old install. It needs to be deleted as it is not needed and has files that interfere.
or you could just rename it if you are worried about deleting
The folder is wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/themesForum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Showcase – No Add To Cartdid you upgrade an old WP e-Commerce install?

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Checkout option not appearing after "Add to Cart" is pushedThat would be a theme issue. The default behaviour of the plugin is just a spinning icon that says updating cart. See this test site https://gasolicious.com/wpec_clean/products-page/
The popup on your site is an added functionality from the theme so I would ask the theme developerForum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Showcase – No Add To CartThe plugin mentioned by nicknack looks very useful, email enquiry button is a great addition but if you just want not add to cart button though that is a simple setting. You go to Settings/Store/Presentation Tab and check “Hide “Add to cart” button:”

In reply to: [Theme My Login] Two registration pages?Hi,
I asked a similar question a long time ago on the plugins Web site forum which is now closed. I am posting my question and the answer. If you see what I asked and the reply it may help you.QUESTION
have user registration and login setup just fine for subscriber/regular retail customer.
I want to also have another login for Wholesalers. I have created this wholesaler user type.
Can I have a login page for the wholesalers that does not show the registration link?
Wholesalers must contact me and I setup a user name and password for them with the extra level of access. How can I have one login page that shows the registration for regular users and another that only shows login and lost password for wholesalers. Also can I add a message that shows only on the wholesale login page.ANSWER
- Copy theme-my-login/templates/login-form.php to your current theme’s directory and rename it wholesale-login-form.php
- Edit the that template to suit your needs.
- Create a new page titled “Wholesale Login” and in it place the following shortcode:
[theme-my-login login_template="wholesale-login-form.php"]

In reply to: [NextGEN Facebook] will this work with WP e-CommerceThanks!
I have several clients using WPEC, so I can see a few NGFB pro purchases just from me. It would be a good idea to advertise it on the getshopped site. I have seen others asking how to get Pinterest Rich Pins for their WPEC shopsForum: Plugins

In reply to: [Post Types Order] [Plugin: Post Types Order] Doesn't work – pages and cptsSo that is the opposite. It only works with hierarchical post types. Pages yes, Posts No, hierarchical custom posts yes.
So it comes down to do you want your Custom Post Types hierarchical or not.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Post Types Order] [Plugin: Post Types Order] Doesn't work – pages and cptswhat are you using?

In reply to: [Post Types Order] [Plugin: Post Types Order] Doesn't work – pages and cptsTo clear things up, I am not from support I just had the same problem and found the answer after reading your post, so I thought I would share.
The paid support at ‘Types’ plugin explained it.
The problem was never with ‘Post Types Order’, it is the way you create custom post types in the ‘Types’ plugin.
When you create a Custom Post Type in ‘Types’ on the advanced panel is a checkbox for “hierarchical”
1. If it is checked the new post type acts like a page, it can have parent/child relationships. This will not work for ‘Post Types Order’. It is nice that you have this option but most of the time you do not need it checked.
2. If you have it unchecked your custom post type will behave like a true “post”. No parent/child situation. This will work with ‘Post Types Order’Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Post Types Order] [Plugin: Post Types Order] Doesn't work – pages and cptsI got this sorted. I will post the reply from the makers of Types in case it is of use to others.
The problem as explained by wp-types is this…..
“The Re-Order option isnt added to Pages or to any other hierarchical custom type.”I had no idea what hierarchical custom type meant so I asked which led to a 1 checkbox solution! Thanks to Caridad at the ICanLocalize forum (makers of Types)…
“WordPress stores everything in the posts table: posts, pages and custom types. When you create a custom type (or custom post type, its the same) you get the chance to define it hierarchical or not. Post Types Order plugin works with non-hierarchical post types.
For example, pages are hierarchical: they have parents and can be displayed in a tree structure. And posts are not: they have no parents and we list them one after the other.
Edit your custom type and you will see a ‘hierarchical’ checkbox that you need to uncheck for the ‘Post Types Order’ plugin to add a ‘Re-order’ option to the menu.”
