Plugin Version 1.5.6
Wordpress 3.0 beta nightly builds.

I installed the plugin on another test install with a different theme.
It works except for item 3 from the list in my previous post.
This theme has left and right sidebars and it eliminates both I think.
It does so in calendar and list modes

I had all of the problems before adding the widget to my sidebar, I removed it without change

lets list them

1. can not change the month
2. buttons do not work to change between list view and calendar view
3. sidebar/footer disappears (it is my sidebar.php even though it’s at the bottom)
4. calendar widget appears on the widget page but I gather from the forum does not actually exist

Number 1 is obviously a really big deal
I have made the code change suggested above
As I said I am willing to give my test login to the developers/justinendler

Some more info,
the list view works is set as default, you just can not change views with the buttons on the page.
Also my sidebar (which is really a footer as its at the bottom) is gone on the calendar page.
I am happy to give you access to my testing wordpress install. Where should I send a login and password?

If I understand you you want a Events page that is your menu and has the grid view calendar.
If so you need the ‘Page Links to’ plugin installed.
First get the URL that shows in the address bar when you go to the calendar.

Now you make a page titled events with no content.
Then below in the advanced section you will see you will see the “page links to” field.
Just paste the link URL you got into the “Point to this URL” field.

I am having the same problem.
I can not change months.
I also can not change to list view by clicking the list button.
As far as the current month calendar view posts etc works fine.
