Same problem. The above post mentions installing php7.0-xml

BUT, my cloud service doesn’t even support php7.0 and the library is supposedly being depreciated. Im coming to the conclusion we maybe having major issues.

The solution was to have the following library?
php7.0-xml

Well it looks like the manifest is having issues… Getting,
Manifest: Line: 1, column: 1, Unexpected token.

And a 404

I talked to WPEngine, they do have their own caching plugin. Which I noted above. Its a very nice application.

Now with your app enabled, mobile and my desktop versions will often display a mutated page that is not what the site is suppose to be. It shows the icon and is mostly gray. It does this when Im not using my proxy, and the superPWA app is enabled. At first, I thought it was the DNS but it became clear superPWA was partially to blame after disabling it has cleared the problems. We may need to move to the PWA app that works with WPEngine as this is not usable.

WP-Engine does use a cache. Its an Object cache and page cache. I will check on its timing.

I’m having issues with refreshing the version on a consistant basis. Not sure why, but even with CCleaner the browser continues to use old versions

I personally have experienced it, and so is my customer and his testers.

I’m having issues reproducing the problem. I can, but I will mail it to you as we are not quite ready to go live with it. (if thats ok).

Im having these permission issues on another PDF generator as well. Something with WP-Engine. It doesn’t have a problem until I print this report which is generated on the fly. I believe though a different issue exists on my local host.
